Hi -- good news. I inspected the site this afternoon and it appears that the tree in question is an Eastern Black Walnut, not a Tree of Heaven. Beyond that, this appears to be a private tree, though as a property owner you should coordinate with CBU on work in and around the lift station.

We typically manage vegetation around the lift stations (which this one is), but I’m not sure about trees. We typically don’t remove anything that isn’t having an affect on the lift station. I’m not sure who would make a call that it is safety danger. I can ask Joe at Street about removal. Does Parks have an opinion about the tree being removed?
