The electrical pit is missing lid and the light post base needs removed. This is right in front of a Bloomington city bus stop on 730 N Walnut St
I live next to Parkridge park, at 3429 E Longview Ave. The Park does not provide a parking space. Individual visitors are fine, but the problem is with groups. They park all along the cul de sac, leaving a small corridor to navigate the way in and out. I'm an elderly woman with a heart condition. I propose the following: define 2-3 parking slots nest to the Park. Post "No Parking" on the other side. Add an official, larger, parking space by the old Marsh store.
Approximately 30 yards eastward from the stop sign at E Post Road and N Staats St, in the westbound lane of Post road, is a 12" wide by 33" long rectangular indentation originally dug by a contractor and then filled in. The fill has since subsided by one to two inches throughout. Hope it can be topped off to make a smoother street.
Our department has an office located at 2599 Fountain Drive. We saw notice today of planned closure at the intersection of Fountain Drive and Crescent Drive. We wanted to be sure there is a semi-accessible detour to reach our building. We have a large project in the month of July that will involve a semi delivering materials to our space over the course of several weeks. Thank you!
An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! I wrote you 4/13/21 case number 175422 and have received no action or contact since. I have written in about this 2 other times over a year. See below. There are end constructions signs all over the area from a project that was completed a year ago. I see them at the entrance to Winlsow Farm Drive, and at apartment houses on Henderson St and other locations. Some one has dropped the ball for a year. Please get the signs removed, they are unsightly. At this point if there is not actions soon, I'll resort to contacting the Mayors office and the newspaper. For the life of me I cant understand that there was not a schedule to pick up the signs.
My office is located at 2909 S Sare Rd. There was some work done on Sare Rd and a sign was placed by my office but has yet to be removed. Can someone come by to remove it?
After removing invasive species yesterday with the city, I picked up about 90 pieces of trash, mostly beer cans along North Dunn between Clover and Lakewood. Would it be possible to post a sign that would address littering? Most of the litter was on the east side of the road.
Which office handles habitual speeding areas? For the five blocks of 12th Street stretching from Walnut to Indiana Avenues there are no traffic signs (speed limit, Stop, etc.) at all, so some people use it as a raceway - mostly in the evenings and much of the night. Formally it is a 25mph zone, but that is not indicated anywhere along the street. In the last year the main problems have been with Domino's Pizza delivery vehicles that fly perhaps 50 mph down the street. We have spoken directly to some drivers and with Domino's managers, but that has done nothing. What can be done to stop them from making our neighborhood a dangerous and unpleasant place to live? If a Stop sign were put in place at Lincoln and/or Grant, that would likely help.
