Walkway that runs west off of the end of Homestead Drive onto IU health office property. There is a drainage cover just off thenorth of the middle of the walkway, and it is regularly completely covered up, which causes flooding of the entire area, including into the IU health parking lot as well as the east end property owner of Homestead Drive. Can someone look into why this is constantly blocked as well as cleaning up the sidewalk which is currently completely covered with debris.

Hello! I want to report that there is a lot of poison ivy at the NW corner of S Grant and E Allen St, 47401. This is right along the edge of the street on S Grant. We live at 909 S Grant, just up the hill, with two small kiddos, so we're constantly stressed out about balls, etc, rolling across the street and down into the poison ivy patches. I think this is technically right of way/city property if it is this close to the street? Not sure. I remember seeing in the past somewhere to report poison ivy, but now can't find it, so I'm just reporting it under misc and other. If there is any kind of city program to come remove poison ivy, I'd love to see it happen at that corner. There is a ton of ivy growing up a light post on that corner as well, some of it along the bottom might be poison ivy, not all of it is (that is mostly virginia creeper? something like that - the 5 leaf variety.)

--Exterior-- Large hole in exterior wall exposing reinforcement materials. 2 windows where the sealing to the double paned glass is defective Man drilled holes in foundation of unit thought to be main cause of pest infestation Exterior clogged dryer vents pose risk for CO --Interior-- Damaged baseboards including large gaps and chipping paint Expired inspection of fire extinguisher Broken stove capacitor - front left burner on max heat with any temp setting Bug, urine and droppings found on baseboards Damaged plumbing caulking on tub along with mold/mildew on most if not all sealant and surrounding areas of tub Ripped carpets along doorway thresholds in bedroom and office, tripping hazard Chronic exposure to insecticides in laundry room causing medical symptoms Unable to use laundry unit or laundry room due to active infestation Slip hazard due to large amount of chemicals on laundry room floor pose a risk for injury to residence and others Other No move in inspection. Sent an email to leasing office of dirty and damaged areas, never replied No contact from leasing office about current infestation or a plan of action Ignored maintenance requests from over a month ago Paying full rent although unable to access or use any units within laundry room Concerns of safety due to insecticides, long term chemical use, slip hazards Concerns for safety due to humidity in apartment and suspected mold Management not providing a safe and habitable place of living

While visiting Bryan Park on 8/9, I observed mowing with a gas engine lawn mower of grass already at a very low height. Greenhouse gas emissions are a concern from unnecessary mowing, and the area being mowed was very large. For a city with a sustainability office, one would expect either the use of electric lawn equipment and/or mowing only when necessary. Please consider training staff to mow using environmentally friendly practices.

So I applied for a gun/concealed carry permit. I paid the fee, then got my fingerprints. They told me to go to a sheriff so I went to the sheriff's office at 301 N College Ave. They said I had to go to the office on 3rd street. I went there and the building was closed so I could not complete my application. What do I need to do from here?

The mailbox post that is shared between myself and two other household (renting from same person) is so rusted that it no longer seems safe. Should the landlord of the two other homes be notified? Who is in charge of replacing it, and how can this be done? It seems that if the very rusty pole is removed, how will the new one be installed? Further up the street, people installed mailbox posts in large buckets of concrete. Does the city really want this? By the way, the property where the post is installed belongs to my neighbors - whose mailbox is on Guy street. I appreciate your help with this matter. Dana

Hello! I am a representative of the Bloomington Highlands HOA, and it has been a concern of many neighbors in our neighborhood that people are parking along our streets to access the Clear Creek trail. It is especially problematic at the entrance to our neighborhood along W. Hennessey St. and up S. McDougal St. Could Parks and Rec post signage along the trail and within our neighborhood explaining that parking is permitted at the trail entrance and not within our neighborhood? This is a follow-up on my complaint from 8/18, #173408, regarding the noise from the work on the tennis courts. The piercing truck backing-up noise went on late yesterday, possibly until around 8 pm. This morning it began at 6:40 am. Is this not a bit too early? Is 12-14 hours of this noise in a day not excessive? This noise has been going on all week. How much longer will it persist? Speaking with my neighbors, this noise is forcing us to risk covid and go into the office. Is there no way to turn down the volume on the warning beep? As bad as it is for me, I imagine this must cause some loss of hearing and sanity for the construction workers using the equipment.
