The water company is a monopoly that runs itself like its the 4th Reich. They offer zero assistance or help, unless your unemployed and not trying to better yourself at all. If you just quit on life and being productive, then the city helps you. If your a hardworking man, that fell on hard times due in no fault to himself, that guy can kick rocks. His only option is to pay his bill in full or else. The water company actually put a lien for 200 bucks against a paid for home worth 225,000! My family has had 3 or 4 generations of perfect bill paying with water company. Just my gma, dad, mom, aunts and uncles have paid city of bloomington water for well over 250 yrs combined, and that garners you zero good will or even common courtesy. They can't even acknowledge they're screwing you over and be polite. They know they're the only game in town so they treat people like crap and it's not ok.

Due to the storm on Friday night we have a lot of run off rock and old concrete from the ditches above our house on Ruby and Covenanter. Since we are the last house where the ditches turn, we get all of the debris. Can someone from the city please come and clean up our ditch (with the truck that sucks up rocks, etc.)along Ruby and Covenanter? Our front lawn grass is full of rock and mud from the flow of water on Friday night. Unsure who to report this to. Our neighbor across the street from us; we are 3710 N Armstrong Dr and they are 3735 N Armstrong Dr; they have broken down cars lined up on the street. Flat tired, packed full of junk and trash, and a huge eyesore. Their yard, all around their house, is littered with trash, furniture and more. There must be ordinances that are against this?! Especially the several dumpy, trashy, some with tarps over them, just lining the street?! Water snd street debris gets trapped under and around them as well, causing a flooded area on that side of the street. Please tell the people at 3735 N Armstrong Dr to clean up and get their broken cars OFF the street.

Can the south side of Fields Drive/South Fenbrook Lane be cleared of the natural debris in the road’s gutter? This debris continues in the road gutter all the way eastward to South Smith Road. This area was bush-hogged by the City earlier this month, leaving leaves, twigs, dirt and cut branches in the gutter. During a recent heavy rain this caused drainage problems as water runoff toward the storm sewer drain was blocked. Thank you.

Drainage ditch across street is so full of leaves & tree branches, the ditch is filling up with standing water when it rains. There's no water flowing wherever it's supposed to flow.

I am a homeowner with storm drainage infrastructure running alongside and underneath my yard. The majority of the Cascade Neighborhood drains though here and the conduit along Skyline is crumbling and heavily damaged. This needs to be repaired in order to accommodate the volume of water now common in our storms. Further, I am concerned that the underground portion is compromised. I see several sinkholes in my yard from subsidence. There are actually two conduits running though - one from alongside my yard, and another that runs from across the street in my neighbors yard. Additionally, there was a portion of erosion along my back fenceline that had eroded around a city sewer access point. Since the city came to fill this, I have had flooding in my garage - correlated to this directly. I have owned my home for over 10 years and am noticing the impacts of hydrostatic pressure in my basement - am issue I’ve never had before. I am concerned that the many city lines that run though my yard are compromised- leading to this problem. I would greatly appreciate meeting with a utilities manager to discuss these issues and have a scope of these lines performed.

The new builders on the corner of Covenanter Drive and High Street installed a pipe last week. Our concern is that the pipe was not installed low enough to keep the flow of water continuing to High street and beyond. With the rainy season coming...we are concerned that the pipe will make water back up on our property. The city just spent two weeks closing off High street to fix this issue and now we are concerned that the new builders have just put something in (but not properly installed it) so they could have a little rock culvert to get to their property off of Covenanter Drive. I sent an email to Vic Kelson and Brandon Prince on Thursday, but never heard back from them. I am writing again because we would like this matter to be taken care of now before they get more involved with building and it is too late to fix the problem. I would appreciate if somebody would get back with me on this matter. Thank you.
