Potholes, Other Street Repair
201 E Gilbert DR
- Case Date:
- 9/28/2023
When turning onto Gilbert Drive from Walnut Street, a significant portion of the road (on the south side) has eroded. As cars swerve to avoid the road damage on the way into the neighborhood, they sometimes come face to face with an oncoming vehicle seeking to exit the neighborhood. This is creating a hazard for our residents and visitors. Would it be possible to send a team out to repair this section of Gilbert Drive?
With appreciation,
Jessica Will

The stop sign posted at the corner of our lot (where E Gilbert Dr and N Laverne Dr intersect) is missing. Currently, the post is standing with no sign indicating "STOP." As this is a hazard to the vehicle and pedestrian traffic in our neighborhood, would it be possible to replace the sign quickly?

The affordable housing located at the 2600 N Block of Walnut street on both sides has no connectivity to public transportation and no sidewalks connecting them to the nearest bus stop and grocery store. As a result pedestrians, including vulnerable elderly, are frequently seen walking in the bike lanes of N Walnut Street. The broken sidewalks between the intersection of Walnut and 45/46 and the affordable housing just north of Walnut and Fritz need to be made continuous as a matter of public safety before another pedestrian is killed.
