Hello,
I work 60 hours a week at the STRIDE Center (Crisis Center) located at 312 N. MORTON St. , I am wondering if there is a permit available to allow employees to park in front on the building (old overflow jail) . Thank you.

Very large pin oak tree planted right next to the street is dead on at least half of it’s crown with dangerous branches broken and dangling over the street. Seems like a public hazard.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

The road that services all of our units in Hyde Park Village has multiple potholes and damaged areas that have been patched over the years. However, the road is in great need of being re-paved. I have lived in this neighborhood for eight years, and it has not been paved in that timeframe. McCartney Lane is considered a city street and we do all pay taxes and I would like for someone to come out to assess the road. Please contact me as soon as possible. I am on an architectural and maintenance committee for the HOA at Hyde Park Village and we will be meeting again on October 9. Thank you. Sincerely,
Jamie Bales.

I beg of the city to do something about the homeless using stolen shopping carts! It’s been going on way too long!! There are dozens upon dozens of shopping carts all over town. (That you can see…prob 5xs that in the woods, streams, sewers) Either in use by homeless or abandoned they need returned! It is a huge eye sore and is making this city look like crap. Most are downtown and around seminary park and the shalom center! I can’t imagine the expense impacting local businesses!!

My neighbor might be running a dog business out of her (i think its a girl but idk) house and its making the neighborhood dangerous. Dogs are barking all of the time. Sometimes dogs sound like they’re fighting and she yells at them. She has wolf dogs that escape her backyard all of the time. I’m scared to let my kids play in our backyard because it isn’t fenced and she doesn’t have control over the dogs. People are always dropping off and picking up dogs from her house so idk if the dogs are even hers. Please help. We live near RCA park and I cant even let my kids walk to the park because im scared theyll get bitten. Supposed to be a quiet family neighborhood but now I want to move so my kids can be safe. Idk her name but I got her address. 1001 w rca park dr

The fees for food vendors are too high and are driving vendors away from the market. That also means that the market is less interesting to patrons. The local food vendors are important to those who come. Please lower these fees.

We want to advocate for our local artisans and their unfair percentage fee for participating in the market. We love Muddy Fork Bakery and several other local food and drink artisans and would love to have them included in the City Market, but think it is unfair that they are slapped with such a high fee just to participate. I believe that if the market is open to more vendors, it will thrive and be even more popular with customers. I hope you will consider a change to the rule so that the market can help build a diverse local economy that benefits the business owners, employees, and consumers.
