Street Trees

Case Date:
6/20/2023

In Bryan Park and Elm Heights, most (all?) tulip poplar trees are dripping honeydew. I am an entomologist and know that this is fairly normal but I’ve never seen it on such a large portion of trees.

Excessive Growth

Case Date:

RESUBMIT - NOTE: apparently, the address I included in the "Service Request Location" field didn't carry over to the issue submission. As such, it was closed by John Hewitt. I'm now including the address here: 3891 E Regents Circle, Bloomington, IN ORIGINAL ISSUE TEXT: The front/back yard areas for this property have become overgrown with weeds and other invasive plants, which has been attracting wildlife and unwelcome insects that are encroaching into the neighboring properties. Efforts to reach the property owner to remediate this problem have gone unanswered.

Leaf Collection

Case Date:
6/21/2023

For many years we have been putting out yard waste bags for pickup on designated. Never was there a problem. That is, until about six weeks ago. The excuse given was that the materials were against the house. That was not true. This Wednesday, today, we put two yard waste bags put placing them in front of our recycling and trash bins. They are (present tense because the bags were not taken) clearly visible. In fact, the recycling personnel had to reach around the waste bags to retrieve the bin to empty. Why the awful service the past few weeks?? Our adjacent neighbor, who is caring for an ailing spouse, did not have hers picked up either. Granted hers is not totally visible. But it is in a spot where their bags usually have been placed. Please resume the fine service you offered until six weeks ago.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

Case Date:
6/21/2023

At the intersection of Pete Ellis Drive and Braeside Drive (Crossing At Pete Ellis apartments), there is a storm drain that is severely sunken in the ground with multiple potholes next to it. It is dangerous to enter/exit Braeside Dr because cars drive on the wrong side or down the middle to avoid sinking a wheel into the large drain hole.
