Lots of trash in the waterway areas visible when walking from the parking lot at Switchyard Park off of South Walnut toward the stage area. I would be happy to help clean it up with a crew sometime.

Our trash can lid was damaged this morning during pick up. One of the hinges was broken. It was fully operational when it was placed at the curb last night. How can this be repaired? 2006 S Sussex.

Dear Rhea, my address is 4426 E. Sheffield Drive 47408. I am also appending a picture. I would normally not bother, but the can is still half full. I actually had entered the address in the window of the original request, but somehow it disappears (I had to enter it twice). I replied to your e-mail request, but noticed this morning that your request came from a "no-reply" sender. I tried to open the u-report case, but couldn't. So I am simply filing a new request. Please mention to your webn techs that the site does not seem to function. Be that as it may, I hope you can get to it yet today. The can is still at the curb. Many thanks, Susanne.

Dear Rhea, Regarding case #186674: thank you very much for sending someone so quickly to empty the recycling bin. I really appreciate it. I clicked on the link but it does not give me an option to reply, so I have to send you a new notice just to thank you. But I did want to thank you for your quick response in solving the issue. Cordially, Susanne.

City Performance

Case Date:

As much as I appreciate the efforts recently with the taking down and clean up of the homeless encampment, I still have to urge the city to do something about the stolen shopping carts throughout the town. In the video with the major cleaning up the camp you can see several stolen shopping carts. Even pictures of the homeless using them and moving them to their new location is shown. They are all over town from multiple different tax paying merchants. The homeless freely use these carts and abandom them at will without any repercussions. You can see city workers and police officers not even acknowledge them when they are seen (from advice from the city). I hope this changes with the new administration!
