BLM murals should not be painted on roads or buildings or anywhere else. If you insist on this ridiculous waste of time and money, THEN WE WANT AN ALL LIVES MATTER MURAL. Mr Hamilton you are not fit to be in public office with your communist ways. NO BLM GRAFITTI !!!!!!!!!

You just don't get it. It's not about having a "better" police nationally credentialed by a profession steeped in oppression. You don't get praise for being the top 5 percent of oppressive militarized domestic forces. Are functions of an armed police force necessary unfortunately in present day United States, yes. But should they be LEADING public safety? Absolutely not. Change starts at the top and a public safety chief, perhaps of a law background or social work or public health, not police, needs to be in charge. Social workers and resource officers are seen as LESS THAN by police, as an ACCESSORY to a primary police force. That needs flipped. We need management, particularly a chief, as a social worker for instance. Social workers know when to call on police. Police can be an ACCESSORY to social work. That's the change that is needed. Policing must become the SECONDARY profession and presence when it comes to making sure we are a safe community. Social work and related can be 24 hours just the same as police; ask a foster care case manager. This is solvable! Change the system. The expertise in the community is there.

The temporary sign to warn drivers about night time traffic has a pretty bad spelling error. It shows:
COUTION
COUTION
COUTION
But it should be:
CAUTION
CAUTION
CAUTION
It will be really embarrassing in a college town starting Saturday when a lot of students move in to apartments and shop right around there.

Lights do not turn on in the evening at the skateboarding area... this is a safety hazard, especially now that it’s dark by 9:30, but the park doesn’t close until 11pm.

"Music Lessons" sign at the corner of Winslow and Henderson at the corner of the Huntington Center, in the grass next to the traffic light. There is another sign next to it, but the letters are too small to read from the road. It is red and black.

How long will the City allow graffiti to be over a pride flag and trans flag on a mural? People's park. You can celebrate black lives matter without saying marginalized LGBT lives don't. Time to think of a different way to honor blm. Bring back rare Midwestern recognition of lgbt people. Please. It's just plastered over like the city doesn't care.

Hello, I live on Euclid Ave and have to make frequent turns onto W 2nd St. On the corner of these streets, across from the church there are overgrown plants/weeds beyond the sidewalk. It's impossible to see any cars coming from the left while on Euclid Ave. The hill makes it difficult but the plants take any vision left. I've accidentally almost involved myself in accidents due to this. I and I'm sure others would appreciate the obstruction be removed if at all possible.

Just had a question. What are the cones at 3rd and N Smith for? Are improvements happening? Hope so. The new bike lanes are cool but N Smith is backing up more now with inability to turn easily. Thank you!

Can we start to have a conversation about the deer population in this town? I walked Sussex Dr yesterday and counted ten deer (!) in 3 groups: doe and 2 fawns, doe and 3 fawns, doe and 2 fawns - all within 2 city blocks!! As we approached the first group using the city sidewalk the mother agressively came after us, stomping her foot. We had to cross the street and walk very slowly to avoid her defensive aggression. This is all well within the city limits. Why should I have to fear them when I'm walking around my own neighborhood? They've already forced several of ourneighbors to install concentration camp fencing to protect their landscaping. Many of our other neighbors have all their landscaping in cages. I like watching deer, too, but come on now - at this point they are pests without a predator to keep them under control. Have we gone too far? Culling is in order. Note: I didn't even mention the costs of hitting one with a car or motorcyle.
