We live on the only road in Sherwood Oaks that has no side walks for pedestrians to use for safety when walking/biking. The issue with this is we live on a main thoroughfare to Sherwood Oaks Park, Rodgers Park, Clear Creek Trail, Childs Elementary, and Jackson Creek Elementary. We need better signs, and speed reduction devices such as speed bumps to slow down traffic that speed through our area and are a hazard to all that walk to the above places including children. The refusal to make this street part of the park green way and safer is absolutely absurd. The past excuses from the city included that we are a dead end with no speeding tickets or wrecks, which is why the city has refused to take action in the past. Please do not wait for someone to get injured or die on this road before you make it safer for all that live and use it for recreation.

This South Carolina town has produced these very inexpensive masks and are handing them out for free. They are based on IU professor and Bloomington resident Jiangmei Wu's free origami design. They can be easily assembled by the user using rubber bands and are made of paper. Something for Bloomington to think about doing. Thank you. I've been meaning to report for some time. During major rain events stormwater rushes into my basement in through the sanitary sewer drain. The last time was June 2021 and storm water poured in for 8-10 hours solid. Luckily I have installed a sump pump that kept the overall water level manageable. I've lived at this address for 10+ years and this problem has occurred 3-5 times total. It only happens when the storm water system is overwhelmed. I believe the same happens for my neighbors. Is there anything I can do to prevent more back flow during major rain events?

off of sare road going up moores pike mowing crew left grass and debris on the walks. this is something that happens all over town, from city workers to private mowing companies. blowing grass in the roads and not blowing it out and off the walks. causes sewer drains to glog up. thx

Side walk on east side of Sare just south of Moores Pike is nearly unusable due to tree and bush growth. Can not safely get past.

The side path along the west side of South Sare from E Moores Pike to E Cathcart is about half blocked at multiple points by trees and shrubs. Have seen people step into roadway to avoid other path users.

You made a mess out of this intersection. The traffic lines are crooked and northbound traffic slows tremendously going through the intersection as right lane cars are going left of center into the passing lane. This was not an issue before the construction that made oversized corner sidewalks. The corner sidewalks are too large for the traffic flow and design.
