I have complained about this property on and off for years. It is abandoned. The house was taken down last year but the issue is the weeds which have turned into trees because it’s been not handled for 10 years. I’m at my limit. I am begging you to please come cut everything down. It is now pushing my fence. Please, please, please help me with this property. I live at 1632 Buffstone court.
The pavement has large holes in it adjacent to the driveway and mailbox. It breaks up into smaller pieces that are scattered as vehicle tires hit them. They have continued to grow larger as the year progresses.
A street light is out and requires replacing. It has several branches from an evergreen tree obstructing the pole and lamp as well.
What is going on here? A half-deconstructed building that is a danger to all who seek shelter on this property and a general eyesore. Are you aware that the 8’ basement is nearly full of water. Not a very safe place to bathe…I believe the city planning department (or the city in conjunction with the county) has the ability to condemn this structure and cause the cleanup of this site. There is significant debris – sand and gravel – strewn across the bicycle lane in several places on North College Avenue. The debris has been there for MONTHS. The debris is very hazardous to bicyclists, especially because it is so thick and extensive. Bicyclists avoiding the debris or sliding on the debris could be struck and killed by motor vehicles – especially given that the City utterly fails to enforce the speed limit, which means that drivers have less time to react. The area with these piles of debris extends for almost the entire length of Miller Showers Park.

We're over 1 miles from Bloomington South High School (off South High St), yet every Friday night for the past couple of weeks we've heard the PA system announcing the football games as clear as day. Roughly 1640 S Dorchester Dr, west side of road has large, sweeping hole that has reached the sub-grade. Other holes beginning to form further south on S Dorchester Dr on the east side of the road. Previously reported under case #176982, was closed nearly 4 months ago with no action taken to resolve the problem. The hole has deepened in this time and continues to get worse. Recommend immediate action before this further degrades the road sub-grade or causes vehicular damage.
Sewage water backing up into my basement. I have checked all of my own plumbing (bathroom in basement; water heater; washer) and everything seems to be in good shape. I have identified water coming (in reverse) out of the drain that services my AC/Furnace. That sewer water then makes its way to my basement floor drain and exits. I have obseved that at heavier usage times (when 2 of us are in the shower and the washer is on) the drain is unable to keep up and thus water ends up on the floor of my basement. This has been happening for about 4-5 days now.
The gate pin and hinge is made so you can't swing through. The pin is almost out and it won't fit back in. Needs repaired.
