Several years ago stop signs were briefly installed on 10th at Smith and it was wonderful. Then they were pulled and we never try to make a left on 10th from Smith because it's just too dangerous. Would really love a light here. But stopsigns would be awesome.
The intersection of Smith road and 10th Street has heavy traffic, especially in the morning and during the rush hour. The fact that there is university elementary school nearby the intersection makes the traffic heavier at times. However, the intersection is controlled only by one way stop sign. The fact that around the intersection the road on the 10th Street curves makes the traffic coming from Smith road challenging to turn on the 10th street. I strongly recommend putting traffic lights on that intersection to avoid accidents and relax the traffic around the intersection.
Water meter cover is cracked and fallen into pit
The road from Highland Park Elementary to W. 3rd Street needs to be stripped and repaved. Even before the construction started next to the school, it has always been patched which breaks up shortly after and it stays a mess. Please fix this road!
The new pedestrian crossing signal at 11th and Diamond has a locator tone that beeps continuously 24/7, all day and all night. The signal is very close to my house (<10ft) and I can hear the tone from inside my walls, which is absolutely maddening when I'm trying to fall asleep! Please turn off the persistent locator tone on these signs, there are other tactile cues to help those with impaired vision find the crosswalk. Thanks!

Pedestrian bridge across the bypass has deteriorated on both sides making it inaccessible for people in Wheels Chairs & Other adaptive equipment. Needs repaired asap for ADA compliance
The home we bought 2 years ago has flood damage and serious drainage issue that I can't not get under control. There is stormwater runoff that has been coming from (5) different neighboring properties and especially the one huge lot at 2130 Shan Crest Hill 46239. When there is a rainstorm not only does or crawl space completely fill up but our yard on the South, East, and west sides become quickly flooded like a lake. there is a 12" culvert drain pipe that runs east to west on the South side that run right next to the road Raymond Street that should be able to accept my neighbors & our ground water but the 12" easement drain pipe is roughly 13" higher win elevation than the area in the rear of my home where all of their ground water collects so it just fills up and resides under our homes foundation. My wife and I have tried everything bought and burnt out several 1, 2. and 3 HP water pumps with no luck. there is just way, WAY to much water. We are becoming very worried about the possibility's of permanent foundation damage, mold, and our home becoming condemned. Every contractor at least (9) or (10) decline getting involved engineers as well. we are at the end of our rope sorta speak.... Tenant complaint: there is a white sedan parked on the street that is partially obstructing the driveway such that I won't be able to get my car out. Luckily, I am not in a huge rush, but I will need to be able to leave with my car a little later this afternoon. Unfortunately, this is not the first time this has happened. Leaving a note on the windshield has not seemed to work.
