Ms. Wruble stopped by Pubic Works Department to voice her concerns regarding a line of sight problem exiting High Speed Tire Company. She was involved in an accident recently and she stated that she could not properly see oncoming traffic before she pulled out of the parking lot. She also stated that there is no sidewalk for pedestrian use and that cars park on both sides of Madison which also inhibits line of sight.
There is a vacant property to the north of 2111 S. Rockport Road that the weeds and brush needs to be mowed. The weeds are in the city right-of-way portion as well as on the private property. The property owner is Richard Carmichael. This property is part of the Redevelopment Rockport Road project.
STREET CLEANERS CAME BY WHILE HE WAS WASHING HIS CAR, DUSTING IT ALL UP. THE MACHINES WERE BROKEN OR OUT OF WATER. HE THINKS THEY SHOULD BE FIXED AND FILLED.
Mr. Dudgeon complains that above property has too many cars parked there, resident is working out of his home, the resident's fence encroaches into the alley, there is junk everywhere.
Mr. Rush reported that the occupants at 2504 S. Rogers are still working on cars at night.
Mr. Rush says next door neighbor is running a car repair shop and makes lots of noise at night doing body work.
Citizen states that there are cars parking on the lawn. Sometimes as many 5 cars.
Trash from the tenant at 822 E. Hunter was dumped at 510 S. Woodlawn.
"The south side of backyard is overgrown and makes driving difficult. There is also a fence that is falling over and I am afraid the dog living there can get out and hurt someone passing. I notified HAND overa month ago."
