Flat ties on abandoned vehicle
Flat ties on abandoned vehicle
A scooter has been parked on the sidewalk in front of my house, blocking the sidewalk, and making my yard mowing task more difficult. Another scooter has been left on the sidewalk 2 doors from me, and has been there for a week.
Hello, I would like to give feedback on some unfortunate observations recently on Kirkwood Avenue and the surrounding streets. This took place last Friday evening around 8:30. We took a stroll after dinner to walk around the downtown area, and it was the first time in 20 years of living here, I felt unsafe. I witnessed people doing drugs, drinking on the street, and what appeared to be a drug deal, right on Kirkwood. I have to say I have come to expect public intoxication from college age students, but I think the police do a very good job of handling those cases. The people involved in the activities I mentioned are not college students. Most looked like they could be homeless or struggling in some way. I understand there is no easy solution. These people need therapy, but they have to be willing to try to improve their lives. I'm not advocating arresting the people. I do think a stronger police presence is needed in these busy areas. I'd recommend posting cadets or others in uniforms strategically in the area. Maybe better lighting and security cameras would help. Thanks, Aaron Perry
There is a gold ford explorer parked on the street that has not moved since August. The tags are expired. It appears that someone broke into it.
I previously made a report of an abandoned vehicle in front of my house at 109 E 14th St. The report shows that the status is closed, but the car is still there. More of the window is broken out, and people have put things on top of the tires.
I LITERALLY just chased these punk ass mother fucking kids from my front door. I fell asleep in my front room. I woke up to voices and shadows on the porch. I had an open door, but my screen was shut. Lights were on inside, but the porch light was not. There were three, early 20s, white males. They ran up the street when I came out yelling.

Checking to see if anyone has gone to the residence about the super loud noise coming from there all day and night. This has been on going for weeks now!
So I once again made a complaint about this horribly loud motor running sound that has gone on for weeks and it runs all day and night and keeps waking my kids up off and on throughout the night (kids who have to get up in the mornings to go to school) and when I just called the BPD to see if anyone was ever going to make it over to the residence I was literally told that the PD decided it wasn't anything they wanted to mess with so disregarded the complaint even tho it's most def in violation of noise ordinance esp late at night and it states if it's a disruptive sound over a certain decibel then it has to be dealt with. So according to the supervisor on duty at this very moment he claims he will get someone sent over there if they get a chance! Lol wow really!! WTG BPD!!
Ugh I’m sorry to have to bother again! I understand there are far more important issues to be tended to but this is just getting ridiculous honestly. Once again I can hear the generator sound running and has officially yet again awaken my kids. My kids have school in the morning and I honestly don’t know what else I can do about this situation. If the electric bill is their issue and the SCCAP office is literally right in walking distance then maybe they should seek assistance to get help paying it. Again I’m very sorry to bother your officers with this issue once again.
