I am a home owner on Madison st and me and my son have been continuously harassed by homeless and people using drugs on this connector to the bline, especially in the evenings. It also gets very dark and is hard to see even with bike lights. I have been charged at and threatened multiple times and its starting to happen more frequently with people not from the neighborhood constantly in and out of this connector causing problems and digging through trash cans.

Hello! My kid and I frequent RCA playground often and it’s one of our favorite places in town. Especially because it’s walking distance to Summit Elementary. As my kids gotten older we re now playing over at the basketball court at RCA. One recurring problem there is that there is no back fence behind the back side of the basket ball court. Balls roll down the hill and into the woods if you don’t catch them or miss the backboard. It seems to be a big deterrent for why people don’t play much basketball there. The pickle ball courts have a nice tall fenced in area for their section. Extending the tall chainlink fence for the back side of the court would tremendously improve the basketball court section. We love that the hoops are low for the little kids and would love to see it being used more. We’ve lost a few balls to the woods and every time I recover ours I find a few others too. Thank you.

The photo shows a tree memorial plaque downslope from Bryan Park tennis courts. It is badly damaged and the tree is gone. I posted this on Facebook and got some dismayed comments. Are then any plans for this? I think the policy is to "guarantee" the plaques for 5 years. There's no way to guarantee the tree, but i have seen at least one replanting. Thanks!

The oak tree along the south side of my condo continues to drop acorns, seedpods and debris into my gutters. I've requested multiple times that this tree be removed because the debris continues to drop in the street. I've talked to an employee of the City and he agreed the tree should never have been planted in this location.

At the cross street of Diamond St and Moravec Way there is a ditch with a fence railing that is full of all kinds of clothing and trash and garbage flowing into the ditch drain. Most of it has probably come from dumpster divers behind the Opportunity House and the trashmound keeps growing. I believe this is on city property and it is along the sidewalk next to the B line trail. It is a mess that keeps getting worse. Bags of garbage and belongings are also littered along the beeline trail along the Moravec Way Trail crossing.

We have a pine tree that is turning brown. It looks to me like it is dying. It is located between the street and the sidewalk. The tree is located in front of 2621 S Southern Pines Court. I do not know if this is the property owner's responsibility or the cities. If this is not the proper venue to raise this concern, please let me know. Thank you.

A winding asphalt path runs through the middle of Bryan Park between Woodlawn and Henderson. Originally it was cinder-paved and used primarily by recreational pedestrians and runners. It now serves cyclists, as a connector between the bike-pedestrian lanes on Sheridan and Southdowns on the east and the Allen Street Greenway on the west. I believe it is state law that cyclists yield to pedestrians but on this path many cyclists don't warn pedestrians when they are overtaking nor do they slow down when pedestrians are present. Because of the path's curvy nature; defensive cycling really requires slower speed. Please post notices at the Woidlawn and Henderson ends of the path, alerting cyclists to slow down and be aware of the blind curves.
