Homeowners at 2502 have fence that is falling apart into the property of 2504. Their "sheds" in their backyard are wired for electricity but undoubtedly not to code. Not to mention the major health hazard from the raccoons and opossum that come and go from the shantytown as they please. Fire hazard, health hazard, eyesore.
I am requesting that a speed bump and a flashing speed indicator be installed in a location along W Woodlawn Ave, somewhere between S Weatherstone Ln and E Wilson St. The speed limit on S Woodlawn Ave is 25 MPH, but the average vehicle's speed in front of my approximate address is closer to 45 MPH, with many vehicles regularly reaching speeds over 60 MPH and even 80 MPH at least daily. The reason why the speed limit is 25 MPH on S Woodlawn Ave is because of its proximity to Indiana University foot and bike commuters, Bryan Park, the Bryan Park Pool, a bus stop, and Union Elementary School. In addition to these elements, S Woodlawn Ave is also hilly which contributes to dangers associated with limited lines of sight between vehicles and pedestrians. Being a thoroughfare between Hillside Ave and streets north of it, traffic naturally flows faster than 25 MPH especially with the only stop sign between 1st St and Hillside Ave being at Sheridan Ave. Drivers frequently “floor” their vehicles through S Woodlawn Ave, and the police speed enforcement seems to never pull anyone over for speeding. For the above reasons, the current traffic pattern on S Woodlawn Ave is incompatible with its intended use. Installing a speed bump and a flashing speed indicator (for both northbound and southbound traffic) will hopefully greatly reduce thoroughfare excessive speeds. I am worried that this is a formula for someone to get hurt and it is only a matter of time unless the City does something about this. Please at least conduct a traffic study. The Flying Fish construction at 1020 East Maxwell Lane is very disruptive. There is a lot of noise from early morning through the afternoon. Trucks beeping, sawing... Since I am working from home, the noise really interferes with my being able to work effectively. There are so many trucks parked along Manor Road that people have difficulty driving down Manor. The large dumpster they have on Maxwell Lane, blocks the view and makes turning onto Maxwell rather dangerous. More trucks parked on Maxwell add to this challenge. This construction has been going on a long time.
I tried and tried to get the "location" to 2238 S Sweetbriar circle, but it kept saying 2227, not 2238. Anyway, the locust trees in the tree plot in front of my house have limbs growing toward the ground. I have to practically get on my knees when mowing to get under one of them. Many of the trees in this addition have limbs very low to the ground, sidewalks, streets, or peoples' yards and need some trimming.
The sidewalk on Smith Road is collapsing where it crosses over a creek/drain just north of East Moore's, between the two neighborhoods
Accessibility issue Foliage encroachment of the sidewalk. My wife, who is blind, has to use this path to get to Henderson.

Trees need cut back overhanging sidewalk on E Moores Pike between N Smith and S Fenbrook lane. Please tell homeowners or association (as might have one) to clear the sidewalk. Street is too dangerous for wheelchair, bike, walking, and such. Thanks.
1404 E Atwater. Overgrown sidewalk. That street is too busy for pedestrians to be forced closer to traffic.
Shrubs have overgrown, blocking the sidewalk. It is the only sidewalk on the street.
