Hole in west bound lane of W Vernal Pike between RR crossing & JB Salvage
I received a phone call today saying that the potholes I reported last week had been repaired. After inspecting the area at around noon I found this not to be the case. I suspect the person who evaluated the situation was noticing that some alley repair had been completed in the spring/summer at the street entrance however about ten to twenty yards up from the street entrance is where the problem area is. Old pavement has crumbled away and cars are bottoming out. To remind you of the location, this is the first alleyway on the south side of 6th street east of Adams. It is a very high traffic alley way due to the fact that there is off street parking for several apartments on Kirkwood behind my house (1221 W. 6th). If you follow the alley way around to the left (exiting on Pine Street) you will find many more problem spots. I hope these issues can be addressed soon before the really bad weather arrives. Thank you!
Pothole on west side of Morton in the city parking area. This fills with water and could be a trip hazard.
This street light tries to turn on, then goes black again for several hours each evening. Right now (near 9 PM) it is 3 hours since darkness and the light is still not fully and continuously on. It does manage to turn on fully before morning, but for the evening hours it seems to be wasting electricity and leaving the street dark much of the time.
The street light at this address, for several hours after sunset gradually turns on, lights up, then goes off -- cycling every 2 minutes or so. Wasting energy, and not lighting up the street except for brief periods.
On either side of the mailbox (1900) W. 3rd St. Two street lights are out of order. These lights are on the median island.
Lincoln just north of third
Potholes in gravel alley. They hold water allowing mosquitoes to breed.
While we do have a pothole at the edge of our driveway that extends into the culdesac and city street one which we live, I'm reporting here a request to extend the curb in the culdesac to the area in front of our house. I have sent in a few requests over the years to the City of Bloomington to get the curb extended and have never heard back. We regularly have folks parking in our yard (probably inadvertently), causing further erosion issues in our yard. Thank you.
