The vegetation along Smith Ave from Euclid to Walker is out of control AGAIN. It overgrows into both sides of Smith so cars get scratched. If you want to turn onto Smith from Buckner you CANNOT see East on Smith to know if a car is coming West on Smith. Going East and West on Smith, the same problem occurs both directions on Davisson. This is a chronic problem every year. I believe Smith is platted as 16 feet wide, but there is definitely not that much clearance. I also believe there is city law that says vegetation should be cut back 3 feet from the street edges. If owners would cut their vegetation back one foot from the paved edge of Smith it would be a lot better. I'd appreciate contact from you after you look into this. Thank You!! I submitted Case #180206 on June 5, but Jo Strong mistakenly closed it on June 9, saying "no sidewalk at this location. I gave the location of the owner of the sidewalk, but the sidewalk is on the south side of their property, while their driveway is on the north side. The overgrown sidewalk is on Fields Drive. Jo Strong also said, "Is address correct?", but there was no way for me to respond. Please reopen this case. I attached a photo (although it isn't showing or acknowledged), but the situation has grown worse since I took this photo.

Sidewalk unusable, has been for years depending on season. Either it's mud covered areas or vegetation that blocks the ability to use. One more option exists and its when both happen at once. However, thank you for mowing, makes that corner usable.

In the first three months of 2022, we had a number of workers (it seems from various companies) over about 2 months showing up to put up a new power pole in our backyard. We did not request this. One group, when asked said that someone would be back to take down the old pole which was marked with 2 large Xs in white paint (an eyesore). No one every came. At one point, one crew took down part of our back fence and ran equipment over the property line killing our ground cover and grass and killing a rhodendrum bush. I called Duke Energy weeks ago to inquire, but they never got back to me.

A hole has opened up in the paved sidewalk just east of the Meadowlands apartment complex drive along the north side of rogers road. A metal disc had been covering the hole, but the hole has widened and the cover has fallen in. I live in the Spicewood neighborhood and walk this way frequently--it could be really dangerous for a bike or child walking.
