One of the new street trees planted by the city after the completion of the new north extension of the Jackson Creek Trail last fall has unfortunately died, and should be replaced. It is sending up suckers at the base, but I don’t think a large shrubby plant is what was intended. Tree is near the property line of the house on High and the house on the corner facing Wimbleton. Crosswalk needs a vertical sign to caution drivers to slow down and respect crosswalk. This is at Hunter and High St.

The pedestrian crossing at the intersection of W. Gourley Pike & Kinser Pike is unmarked and thus invisible for oblivious passing motorists leading to a number of scary crossings for me. The speed limit is posted 30 mph but Northbound traffic often streams downhill from 17th at speeds more like 40 mph. Despite the danger crossing in my power wheelchair with velocitized drivers streaming in from SR 46 on the other side as well, it is the safest alternative with more severe problems on the Arlington bridge/Colonial Crest route reported separately.
Three wks ago I reported to HAND trash all around Elkins Apts. Problem still not resolved: blowing party trash, beer cans, etc. in front; blowing trash from trash receptacles in back, around parking lots. A real neighborhood eyesore.
The southwest corner of 4th and Rogers intersection has terrible drainage and creates a giant puddle that makes it impossible for pedestrians to cross without stepping into inches of pooled water. The harder it rains, the worse it gets. The giant puddle doesn't go away quickly, either. Please fix this sidewalk.
There are two signs that were blocking the sidewalk all summer saying that the sidewalk ahead was closed for construction. They never served any useful purpose and the construction has been done for weeks. Someone moved them onto the grass, but they should be taken away because you can still bump your head on them.
The barricades set up on Rockport Road at the intersection of Roger's Street and Rockport Road are creating a dangerous situation. Specifically, the barricade in the lane for Rockport approaching Rogers requires traffic to drive in to oncoming traffic. This particular barricade doesn't seem to serve any purpose, as it is only visible to traffic traveling on Rockport towards Rogers street, the opposite direction of the Tapp/Rockport intersection.
