The northwest corner of our yard has been inundated with water for the past several weeks. There is standing water as well as super-saturated ground. The water appears to originate from the utility strip between properties toward Clover. This does not appear to be related to rain or storm events. The water drains to the south, but the amount present doesn't lessen. This makes us think there is a leak in either a water main or a storm drain or another source. The saturation leads to worries about the mature trees along the property line coming over. The ground is boggy and one cannot walk or mow in this area. Your attention to this will be appreciated.

Hello, I reported water coming into our yard before.(uReport Case #177856) Your answer was that it was probably coming from neighbor's pool. That pool is to the southwest and they do indeed drain it into the yard, but it is not the source of water coming from uphill, close to properties on Clover on the northwest side of the yard. The water comes from somewhere close to 400 Clover Lane. As the property line and utility easement are wooded and covered with vegetation it is difficult to tell where the water originates, but it is clearly outside of our yard. A part of the curb is sinking right above my sewer line which leads from my house, under the street and connects to the city sewer line. I'm concerned that the collapse of the curb will break my sewer line which I am responsible for. Please send someone to assess the cituation. Thank you.

There is a parked trailer in the street, without sufficient reflection or license plates. I do not know who owns it but it has been there for months. It is moved a few feet either way on occasion, but it presents a major safety issue at night and is quite unsightly for a residential neighborhood.

Dear Government, I have been living here for about 13 years, and in this time it has become clear to me that there is a problem at the intersection between Rusgan Drive and Ramble Road West. You see this intersection has been my bus stop for years, and whether it's the dark of morning when I leave or daylight when I get back people speed right by as if there were no speed limit. This is only made worse by the fact that the intersection is half blind because it lies at the bottom of a small hill. So for the well being of myself and the children of the neighborhood I am requesting that this intersection be changed to a three way stop. I believe this would force the people of the neighborhood to drive at a more reasonable speed and therefore make my street much safer. I believe my neighbor across the street, the father of a small child, previously wrote the city requesting the same thing. I myself am just a teenager. So you know that once the problem has reached the point where a teenager takes time where they could have been doing nothing to write the city about traffic regulation, it's probably not just nothing. And considering others have written about this in the past, I frankly find it foolish to wait until someone actually gets hurt to take action. Thank you for your time and consideration, P.S. There was a pretty severe car wreck from a car that left Dunn St and ended up in our back yard. A lot of bulky debris remains that won't fit in our trash can. How do you suggest we get it removed? It's close the storm drain.

Hi. I appreciate the curb-side pick up of trash and recycling. This week (yesterday) after our Tuesday morning pick-up of trash, I noticed that one of the two attachment points for the lid of our city trash container had broken. It was not broken before the pick-up. I understand that the wonderful no-touch process is challenging for the operator, who is working in cold, dark winter streets with large and imprecise equipment, trying to complete a large job in a limited amount of time. Things break. I can go to the roll of duct tape to attempt a fix, but I wanted you to be aware of the issue and I'd like to know what you propose as the preferred solution. thanks, Kelly
