Observed city sanitation personnel leaving trash in their wake as they did the weekly collection. I had guessed this was happening, but finally saw with my own eyes. Often they leave the emptied bins in lanes of travel as well, when the bins were not set in the road. FYI - just hoping this can be improved so our neighborhood is free of litter.

At 7:26 am on 11/31/2023, a motorist in a dark BMW nearly ran me over as I was crossing the street. The vehicle was traveling about 50 MPH based on my calculation (speed=distance/time.) This is not the first near miss that I have had crossing the street or backing out of my driveway. I have sent in requests for a speed hump as motorist travel north and south between 3rd and 5th much faster than 25 MPH. I have not heard back from anyone. Please let me know that you have at least seen this uReport ticket. I tried to submit this report in the "Close Call" section more than once and it does not work.

I often find that this light is red for traffic on 3rd street, with many cars stopped and waiting most times I cross this intersection. There is much more traffic on 3rd street than Woodscrest and Hillsdale. It has often led me to believe that the light might be mistimed, biassed towards the traffic crossing 3rd street. I am not at all sure that it is indeed mistimed, but it seems like it, and might be worth checking if there is a way to assess that issue. Suggesting that a speed hump be put on E. Eastgate Lane, in between N. Hillsdale Dr. and the bypass. Cars fly through our street to and from the bypass, and there is a blind corner at Hillsdale and Eastgate.

Many cars heading North and South on Hillsdale are exceeding the 25 MPH speed limit, making it dangerous for pedestrians, bicyclist, and cars backing out of driveways. I'm not sure what the best solution for this is.
