Surface asphalt is crumbling
There is a sidewalk here that connects Meadowbrook to Fenbrook. At the top by Meadowbrook it is overgrown with poison ivy and other ground plants, narrowing the useable path by several feet. Given that it is also a blind corner this increases the danger of collisions with cyclists etc
No water pressure.
The leaf collection crew left a rake in our yard. It is leaning against our mailbox at 933 S Meadowbrook Dr. Please have them pick it up. Thanks.
As of 11am on Saturday, February 17 it appears all surrounding neighborhoods have been plowed and salted but no roads in Hoosier Acres have been salted or plowed.
An area of new sod immediately adjacent to the sidewalk and between the sidewalk and street has collapsed (in some places to a depth of 9 inches) in such a way that it is unsafe for bicyclists or pedestrians who may veer off the sidewalk even very briefly. We believe this sod was laid after the ground was dug for installation of the fiber cable for Gigabit Now. We (University Baptist Church) are not certain of the best agency to contact about the problem, and we are hoping that you will either take care of it or direct us to the correct people to contact. If someone chooses to respond to this concern by phone, please note that we have very limited office hours, but they could leave a voice message. Email is actually best. Thank you! We recently bought this house. When the plumber installed new toilets, he suggested I ask the city to check the water pressure. On June 12 I called about this, but have not heard back. Please advise. Thank you. John Scott Long 3855 E Brighton Ave 812-322-2940
Hello, we have a Pin Oak tree to the west of our home that was affected by the storm. We wanted to check to see if this tree is on city property. While looking at the GIS it looks like our property line starts at our basketball hoop and the tree is to the west of that line. There are branches that are loose and it looks like there has been a lot of woodpecker activity in the past that is creating damage. Could someone please come out and inspect the tree and let us know what you think? We would love to keep the tree if possible, but safety-wise we would like to have it checked/trimmed up. Thanks so much.
A BIRD scooter was left by my house near the bushes and needs to be removed.
