Grass and weeds over 2 feet tall at old hospital properties.
Grass and weeds over 2 feet tall at old hospital properties.
Submitted on behalf of Casey Guarino. On August 8, 2024, around 12:30 PM, both sides of S. Rogers St. were obstructed and impassible for wheelchair users around 714 S. Rogers. One sidewalk had no curb cut access due to construction. The other sidewalk, at 715 S. Rogers, was blocked by a temporary sign. Casey requested that a construction worker in the area move the temporary sign so that she could pass. The worker refused, saying "People who can walk can get around." When a passerby picked up the sign, the worker said "You can't do that." The passerby briefly moved the sign regardless, and Casey was able to reach her destination. However, both sidewalks remain obstructed, which is a major accessibility problem.

There has been a Ford Explorer parked on the street in front of her house for years. She is wondering if the owner of the vehicle can be contacted to have it moved or if it is an abandoned vehicle that can be removed. her address is 708 W. Dixie St.
The residents at Allen and Fairview are not shoveling the sidewalk adjacent to their property. Please help and inform them. Thank you very much!
Stop sign appears bent face down touching the ground. Exact coordinates from Google maps are 39.1555811, -86.5411486
Light bulb is out on the Pedestrian Traffic light. Bulb that is out is facing East.
We walked by and saw clear water bubbling up from a hole in the ground near the sidewalk on the south side of the street. Seems like something is broken? Possible water main break?
This Suburban regularly parks on the sidewalk, fully blocking the sidewalk which requires pedestrians to walk in the street. The house is in the SouthEast corner of Wylie and Fairview.
