Not sure if this is formally in the City or not and if HAND has jurisdiction here, but this property has a very tall fence surrounding the property that comes right up to the intersection of Rayle and Fairington. It is so tall and so close to the intersection that a driver cannot see traffic coming around the corner. It is unsightly and, more importantly, dangerous.

I’m writing to request the completion of unfinished sidewalks and the addition of some crosswalks on the west side of Bloomington. The first is an unfinished stretch of sidewalk along the east side of Curry Pike from Industrial Avenue to the intersection of 2nd St./45. The sidewalk dead-ends before reaching the intersection, and there is no crosswalk at the intersection to allow pedestrians to cross safely from the north side of 2nd St./45 to the south side, or vice versa. The second is a stretch of sidewalk along the north side of 2nd St. from Liberty Drive to Industrial Avenue. This sidewalk is overgrown and near unusable and dead-ends before reaching Industrial Avenue. Moreover, the intersection at Liberty Drive and 2nd St. has a crosswalk on only the north side (going east-west) and does not allow pedestrians to cross safely from the south to north side of 2nd St., or vice versa. Lastly, the sidewalk on the west side of Curry Pike does not connect between Lamplighter Mall Ct. and Glen Oaks Drive, and connecting these stretches of sidewalk would provide better access to 3rd street and the neighborhoods along Curry Pike. It would be much appreciated if the city could complete these stretches of sidewalk and make the area more walkable for those of us who do not have other modes of transportation or who simply prefer to walk the shorter distances to reach businesses and services that are close to home. Dogs are kept outside on the porch for 8+ hours a day with no shelter, food, or water. They constantly bark, wanting to get away from the cold and rain. When the owner does let them in it’s only 1 dog at a time and it’s never for very long.
Skunks in residential area
The road from Highland Park Elementary to W. 3rd Street needs to be stripped and repaved. Even before the construction started next to the school, it has always been patched which breaks up shortly after and it stays a mess. Please fix this road!
Multiple potholes on Liberty just past Kroger
A tree in the front lawn of this property has two large broken branches that overhang the street, and they've been so for a couple months now. A lot of people walk under these branches on their way to and from Highland Village Park, and it's only a matter of time before one or both of these branches detach and fall onto the street. Currently, you can hear them creaking and see them swaying with the wind. They need to be safely removed before they snap off.
This man is going to cause an accident or he’s gonna get run over by a car. He’s been on the street corner for well over a year almost every day he’s getting more and more bold going out into the traffic. This is unacceptable behavior if this was IU student in front of a fraternity house on third street, this would never been allowed to go on.
The section of S Park Square dr south from 3rd street to Highland Park Elementry has multiple pot holes that make the road dangerous to drive. There are also areas where new construction has cut through the street but the fill that has been placed does not seem adequate and has left dips that you have to slow down significantly for.
