Bloomington Transit Late Night bus service FAIL: At 10 pm on Dec 7, t did not work on either the Uber or Lyft app. Uber link from the BT website said “NO VOUCHERS LEFT.” Lyft app did not accept the BTLATENITE voucher code. When I called the BT dispatcher, he did not offer to help but rather have me a number to call Uber.
At approximately 7:50am 3/6/203 a B-ton transit bus driver, traveling SB through High St and Arden Dr intersection, failed to come to a complete stop. There were cars, pedestrians, cyclists in and around the intersection. Mostly, it's the elementary school kids on their way to school that are at greatest risk from poor driving habits.
Bus not stopping happened at 8:50 not 7:50. Sorry about incorrect time reported in 1st report.
Can we PLEASE move the bus stop signage / stop location at least 30 ft north of its current location to prevent people from falling into a drainage sinkhole this is located next to the existing drain. We reported this sinkhole THREE years ago, but nothing has been done, and now it's a hazard to passengers getting off of the #5 bus. Do I have to wait until Mayor Thomson to finally get this fixed? Hamilton has ignored this for THREE F'N YEARS. Sad.
We're having a lot of issues with the bus stops being located on our properties and it bringing disturbances to our center. We request that all bus stops get moved off of the private property as soon as possible. Thank you.
Please help. Someone said they are getting rid of the 6 stop at Smith and Morningside. That was not explained anywhere! We knew they were getting rid of the stop of the other line further into Morningside but NEVER the one on Smith. That not only helps slow the extreme danger of folks flying through the four way stop there but is used tons by faculty and students and staff of PRE and elsewhere to get to campus and downtown. This is a major problem and was NOT communicated well if true.
There is a bump on the road which is causing the trailers to hit it and making a really loud sound
While I'm a supporter of the local bus system, the PA system on the bus can be heard 2 blocks away and inside my home. I'm making a request that the volume on the PA that announces the next stop be turned way down. If it's for riders, it really can't be necessary for it to be at the high volume that it's currently set at. This was evident of the bus that comes at all hours of the day and into the evening. (one just passed by the 300 block of east 7th at 10:28 AM on 9/26/20.) Thank you!
