Massive work is being done on our short street (S. Sare Rd.) - bulldozers, trucks, people. But a large white Cadillac SUV with something in the driver's seat, possibly a human, sits parked almost in my driveway. As I was trying to get out of my driveway this morning I had to steer around several vehicles. However, there was open space behind the white Cadillac SUV, plenty of room - it could have moved to make it easier for me to get past him. He didn't move! Perhaps he is stoned, asleep, drunk, stupid, or maybe it's a robot sitting in the driver's seat. However, IT, the body in the driver's seat, indicated no intention of being helpful. He was not in a City of Bloomington vehicle, but a private vehicle, so perhaps he was an intruder, a spy of some kind, or he was hiding out because it was a stolen vehicle and he thought he would be safely overlooked in all the disruption. Lots of scenarios are possible. But if the City of Bloomington is paying this incompetent person to sit like a dummy in his private, oversized car and block the way of citizens, he should certainly be fired, or he should not be paid if you are paying him to sit there, hour after hour, oblivious to his surroudings. Caller to HAND complaining about LED exterior lights on 2 Apt buildings located at the NE corner of the 800 block of N Madison with a 13th St address. She said that they are too bright and shine directly onto her property and should be directed down onto their property.

There are a lot of residents that have pets, and it is difficult sometimes to see to clean up after them. Also, as a single woman, it is pretty creepy in that area because it is so dark. Thank you for your consideration.

City of Bloomington truck 592 is continually parked at a residence on Beechwood Dr. in Ellettsville. This truck looks to be used by an employee for personal use. Numerous city assets have been utilized at this Ellettsville residence in the past including trucks, trailers, and landscaping equipment. Hard to understand why a city asset would be used to commute from Ellettsville to Bloomington and be parked overnight at the residence for longterm use. Seems like fraud and abuse of taxpayer funded resources.

Not sure what we've done to warrant repeated passive-aggressive placement of our trash/recycling bin. We try to follow the placement rules, and whenever they're not full we don't put the bins out so the crew can have a pass. On top of property taxes we also pay for the bin. I thought perhaps we should return the recycling bin and just put everything in the trash - save us money and spare us this behavior? But I believe in recycling. So let's try this first. My neighbor has his bins walked up the driveway to his garage. and that way they're not in the middle of the driveway or street. My I have this service too please? Or will my property be in danger from some passive aggressive vandalism by the city staff?

There is a drainage issue outside our neighbor’s home that is running in front of our home as well. The standing water has been there for about a year, is disgusting and has an odor that smells like fish. I am concerned about our children getting sick from getting this contaminated water on their hands and body. This is located on the cul-de-sac of S Bay Hill Court in Fieldstone Subdivision - specifically in front of 431 S Bay Hill Court. Smells of Septic sewage waste and dirty water coming from this home area. The odor is intoxicating and unbearable. People and students from school walk thru this dirt area. Unsanitary. Specially during this hot summer season.
