The property at 1000 E Atwater Ave (currently operating as an illegally zoned fraternity) is also apparently being used as a public urinal. I have seen three separate individuals urinating on the wall of the house that faces our driveway. As tax paying home owners, we would prefer. to see this (or to deal with associated health hazards). Is this not a ticketable offense - public intoxication and/or indecency? Please take action. On behalf of the entire neighborhood of Elm heights, please take action. Thank you.
We are so tired of the on-going issues with the tenants of these properties and the owner who condones this use of his property. Blue party tarps are down, laying in yard. The tenants put these up in the evening and remove them before city personal can see them on Monday morning. Almost daily there are cars parked in the public alley behind the houses. Trash, beer cans, cups and other debris are an ever-present problem. We appreciate the city's effort in noting these issues, but nothing has happened to resolve these problem properties.
Continuing trash problem around dumpster. Pillow? in front yard, chairs, tarp-covered furniture in back yard has been there for 2 weeks.
Since there isn't an option for "idiot student idea"...there is a broken sofa bed perched on a very steep roof at 449 Henderson (NE corner of Henderson and 2nd). Even if it doesn't injure the idiot who attempts to use it, it could fall and hit someone else. Plus, it looks trashy!
618 E. Atwater The roof has to be on the verge of collapse. If someone were to enter this structure, who knows what could happen to them. Beyond the fact that it is blight right in the middle of one of the most important parts of the city, the property and the structure is a danger to anyone near it. Please do something about this. It has been sitting like this entirely too long.
Account 16820-010 - Following activation of new services, water was turned off Friday, July 26, 2019. The home is occupied and residences are in temporary housing until servcies are reactivated and returned to normal servcie .
Reported to Mike Carter via email 1/11/18. Reporting to uReport as well. FYI. With the new snow, it’s a lot easier to see where the leak is at. I hope you had a nice long weekend… Best, Rick On Jan 11, 2018, at 2:27 PM, Rick Birch Dietz wrote: Mike, here’s the scoop on the leak we discussed. Thanks! I live at 1500 E Maxwell Ln. I’m at the SE corner of Maxwell and Sheridan. There appears to be water pooling on east side of Sheridan near the western entrance to my driveway. I noticed ice here a few times last winter but thought it was just frozen road runoff and it wasn’t super cold last year so ice build-up wasn’t significant. But it’s been well below freezing and there shouldn’t be standing water. I didn’t observe anything like this in the spring, summer or fall. I assume there’s a small water line leak underground, perhaps underneath the road. The road is cracked along the edge so there may be some freeze/thaw going on. It doesn’t seem to be an emergency — the flow seems pretty minimal but it does generate some ice south of the wet area when below freezing. I wanted to report this now that I realize what is going on. I placed a stake with orange flagging tape in the area where it seems like water is coming to the surface. Thanks for looking into this. Low water pressure
There is a leak or broken pipe between the street and our meter.
