Branch hanging down scratches car roof. Looks like some work was done on a fire hydrant as the ground around it is dirt and I don't know if equipment hit the branch or what happened but it's hanging down. I tried to pull it down myself but there's no way.

Sewer Problems (Sanitary Sewers)

4619 S College DR

Case Date:
5/15/2019

We have had an on and off influx of horrible sewage smells on the south side of Bloomington for several months. It’s not just one house or a neighborhood. The smell is pungent from the corner of Old State road 37 south and E. Roher road continuing west to Roger and south to Clear Creek. Ever since construction started on west Gordon pike. It’s nauseating, has consistently awoken me from sleep, and is down right unpleasant. What if anything is being done? Jona Rector I live in Patton Heights across from southside Kroger. 317-935-016 rectoejona@gmail.com

Utilities Yardwork

4319 E Cricket KNL

Case Date:
6/14/2019

The issue is a fire hydrant on 4319 Cricket Knoll Dr. in Gentry Estates. While it doesn't really look like it sticks out that much from the sidewalk (you'll see by the attached photos) as there is a cutout. But if you're blind and your can sway your cane under it and you're moving over to avoid the tree branch, then you can actually not know it's there. The complainant has hit it with the side of his leg three times and has fallen to the sidewalk.

Sewer Problems (Storm Sewers)

3635 S Bainbridge DR

Case Date:
6/17/2019

3635 S. Bainbridge Dr. All three storm inlets during flash flooding events aren't able to keep up with the water demand which then sends water down our driveway. About 3 years ago a third drain was installed to help mitigate the issue but hasn't worked the way it was intended. We left for the weekend for a funeral this past weekend and the drains became clogged which then sent water down our driveway and flooded the basement for the second time this year. First time happened in November due to leaves and the leave pickup program overwhelming our storm inlets. We had a swell put in to mitigate the driveway water and it has worked well. However, when the storm drains clog, the swell is overwhelmed. Please help.

Potholes, Other Street Repair

3613 E Brownridge RD

Case Date:
6/17/2019

3600 block of Brownridge Rd on north side: Due to flooding, the stream bed is encroaching on the road surface so that now there's a 3-ft. drop eroded up to the black-top. It's beginning to undermine the road surface. Some local erosion control for about a 10-foot stretch should arrest the problem for the foreseeable future, I'd think. Of course, we could wait until the road gets undercut, and that'd be quite a bit more complicated, I think.
