Blocked Street

101-199 E Smith Ave, Bloomington, Indiana, 47401

Case Date:
11/4/2019

The Project School prohibited egress from the alley (parallel between Washington & Walnut) at 8:55 am this morning 11/4/19. Instead of monitoring the traffic/pedestrian flow and locating a safe gap to allow passage, the gentleman refused to allow any vehicle to pass even when there were ample opportunities to do so. I do not believe the Project School is allowed to completely prohibit vehicle egress indefinitely. I request that their guards not only allow passage for their students and parents but to also allow passage for the rest of the community who rely on the use of the public roads and alleys.

It's bad enough that we have to fight for parking at Morton Street garage, but it becomes intolerable when black ford F150's take up 2 spaces (314, 313). Is there some ordinance against this? Can they be ticketed, at least? License plate G04292.

The gravel runs the length of the substation north to south and needs to be swept up This is dangerous. As part of the B-Line detour, this should be deemed unacceptable for the City to allow for such unsafe conditions.

This has happened on multiple occurrences now over the past month or so. Do they need to operating so loudly? If not, can they be please be advised to lower their volume?
