There is a problem with high weeds and trash at 2421 S. Bryan St. Mr. Price emailed the Ombudsman to report that he has went to this address and cleaned it up himself because it was such an eyesore. I told him to contact the HAND Dept. He also stated that homeless people were living in the abandoned trailer and old shed on the property. I ask him to contact the Bloomington Police Dept.

Mr. DeBruicker stated in an email that in February 2003, Insight ran new cable wire to his home. The cable has not been buried even though he has called Insight several times. He would like the new cable wire buried and the old one removed.

I am a resident of the south Jordan neighborhood. There appears to be a major fence being added to the property located at 516 S. Jordan. Are there regulations regarding fences? From the looks of the initial layout, it appears that it could be in violation of setback and possibly other zoning ordinances. It might be worthwhile to keep an eye on the scope of this project. This property recently changed ownership and the new owner may not be aware of local regulations.

Neighborlink Report Location of your Problem: 3603 S Kingsbury Ave Details: There is a house on our street, S Kingsbury Ave, that has been empty since November 2009 when the owner, Phyllis Phillips died. Different people from the neighborhood have mowed the front area from time to time. The house has several dead trees that need to be removed, lots of limbs and just recently a large part of the tree in the front yard came down in the winds and is still there. It makes the neighborhood look bad. We are hoping you will be able to help get our street looking good again! Despite previous warnings from city staff, there continue to be cars parked in the front yard. Tonight, one car in the yard and one car blocking the sidewalk. We also have photo from 6/14 of a car parked in the yard.
