I have lived at 1211 West 11th Street with my daughter for 2 1/2 years. I have called HAND multiple times concerning the house next to me at 1209 West 11th Street. The yard is not mowed on a regular basis with the backyard waist high at present. There are out buildings that are in disrepair with trash throughout the yard. There is also a truck in the backyard that hasn't been moved in 2 1/2 years along with stacks of tires. There are trash bags, mattresses, and other items on the front porch. Multiple windows are boarded up, and there are large holes in the roof. There are Copperheads in the yard.There are many pedestrians in the area and with the snakes present, there is a very real danger. I called animal control last summer and was told they couldn't do anything because it was the snakes' "natural habitat". I greatly appreciate your attention to this matter. Diane Fraker 812-360-7243

Location of your Problem: 1211 E Elliston Drive Details: This property appears to have transitioned to a residential rental in a primarily single family residential neighborhood. Normally not a problem, however, on a regular basis there are upwards of 7 to 10 cars parked in and around this property. Often they are parked facing the opposite direction of traffic and one truck appears to be a trash dump for the property. Please look into this and confirm if A) this is a legal occupancy per HAND, B) is the parking of so many vehicles permitted?, C) Are there any solid waste concerns for storing a property's trash in a truck on the street? Location of your Problem: 1215 S. Grant Details: I want to file a complaint about my neighbors at 1215 S Grant St, Bloomington, 47401. Bags of waste regularly accumulate on their front porch and around the yard and are never tagged and removed on garbage days. The property is owned by a landlord whose name I don't know. Several bags are present on the porch and around the property currently.

Hello, 7 or 8 months ago I asked Xfinity/Comcast to correct a hanging cable of theirs after a storm knock a big tree limb into a telephone pole that took power and other cables out. Everything was repaired by Metronet & the Power Company but Xfinity/Comcast never came. It left a long cable that just hangs on our property is very annoying (and dangerous) when we are working, mowing, playing with grandson, etc. Xfinity/Comcast was contacted (claim #ECM0010285921) to come out and correct it, but they never did. It took a while to talk to a real person and even then it took so much explaining ever & over again through several transfers. You ever try to talk or chat with Xfinity/Comcast when you don't have an account with them? (I do not have an account with them) They ask over & over again for an account number! Very frustrating. After 45 minutes I was able to state my case about the hanging cable, they said they would send someone out but would have to have the "ok" from the City of Bloomington. I don't know what has happen since that day, but nothing has been done about it. I was hoping by emailing you we could get something done about it or help me on how to do so.
