I am a resident of the south Jordan neighborhood. There appears to be a major fence being added to the property located at 516 S. Jordan. Are there regulations regarding fences? From the looks of the initial layout, it appears that it could be in violation of setback and possibly other zoning ordinances. It might be worthwhile to keep an eye on the scope of this project. This property recently changed ownership and the new owner may not be aware of local regulations.

From Police: The police department has had several complaints from this apartment complex reference drugs, disturbing the peace, fights, as well as other calls. When I was there I noticed that the complex was littered with a large amount of trash. I believe about ½ of the complex is abandoned. It would help us if HAND got involved with code violations. Brian Kleber, 2455 E. Rogers Road, contacted Ron Walker regarding a pile of grass clipping and brush in the street plot next to 2508 Populars Court. Can you have a member of your staff investigate to determine if this is an encroachment issue or a HAND-tiltle 6 issue.

Received email from the planning dept. The uncontainered trash bags around the back wall of 809 S. Fess are an increasing nuisance on our block. When I complain to the students, they clean up the alley a bit but do not put out their trash weekly. The raccoons, rats, ect. get into it and carry bits of garbage around the back alley, where my toddler and I like to walk. This week is a typical example of what is lying around back there. tenants at this house leave their trash out in the backyard for weeks at a time without trash cans. this has caused a rodent problem.

Mr. Troxall sent an email that stated that the NW corner of the intersection of E. Hillside Drive & L. Longwood Drive that has a large amount of vegetative overgrowth from lawn that covers sidewalk.
