Overgrown vacant lot at Highland and Miller.
333-0062--Marco Plastics, Complainant reported that employees are smoking inside, mislabled or open containers which are not properly stored. Extension cords on the floor et al.
When you are traveling east on Miller Drive and approach the intersection with Maxwell Street, you cannot see the stop sign due the foliage surrounding it. The lot is next to 1254 E. Miller Drive.
The property owner on the northeast corner has a chain link fence with pine trees. The trees have become overgrown and are causing a line of sight problem for drivers pulling off of Huntington onto Miller Drive.
Citizen states that the trees/shrubs on the southeast corner of Huntington & Hillside causes a line of sight problem for those turning off of Huntington onto Hillside.
While burying his neighbor cable drop, Insight tore out Mr. Vandervort's cable. They ran a new cable across his yard. It took five weeks to bury his cable. Now, its been 10 weeks since the inital incident and his yard is still not repaired. He has made several phone calls to Insight to resolve this problem.
Subscriber was behind in payment, says she called TCI, made arrangement to make partial payment 8/27, to which TCI agreed. On 8/25 cable was disconnected for nonpayment, sub called TCI & was told payment was due 8/22, she will have to pay bill in full plus 1 mo and they will reconnect when they can get to it(will waive reconnect fee). Sub has child, needs cable, feels TCI should honor arrangement agreed to, let her pay $60 now & reconnect her asap.
THOMAS HAS HAD A SERIES OF HOLES, ABOUT 3" IN DIAMETER, IN HER BACKYARD. SHE ORIGINALLY THOUGHT THAT THEY MIGHT BE YELLOW JACKET NESTS AND TRIED TO DROWN THEM OUT. THE HOLES WOULD NEVER FILL UP. THERE ARE MORE HOLES OCCURRING , CAUSING A HONEYCOMB EFFECT. SHE IS WONDERING IF THIS COULD BE A SINKHOLE. PLEASE CALL HER BEFORE COMING OUT.
