Deb McMullen is upset that the city has spent all this money on the College Mall Road project, and the best the city could come up with was restricting only one business, namely Dr. Steeles, to no entry from the south. She says that it looks bad on the department.
Mike Morris (917-538-5927) called about a tree that fell on the multi-use path handrail on Rogers, just east of High. He mentioned it happened months ago and wanted to know when it will be repaired.
Mr. Michael called on 11/28 to complain about unfair treatment by the local court system. He was very angry and began cussing at Diane. When it became apparent he was not going to stop his profanity-laced rant, she hung up on him. Mr. Michael then called back and left an angry voicemail message. At the end of the message, he said someone better clean up this (expletive) or he will...and "that's a promise." Diane forwarded the message to Chief Diekhoff.
Anonymous complaint from a woman who lives on S. Wilton in Green Briar Hills. She said drainage from Arden Place runs through their neighborhood and right now, there is a lot of water, leaves and trash along the street. She would like someone to come out and pick up the leaves in the next few days.
We had a request for extra patrols to monitor the intersection at Kingston and Longview. The caller said drivers routinely "fly through" the busy intersection, putting other motorists and pedestrians at risk.
Female bus driver said she thinks it's dangerous for City Sanitation trucks to block the entire width of the street when they're doing the trash pickup. She said she's afraid there will be a bad accident.
Was assured she would get to adopt puppy she saved from road if no one claimed it. Now finds she'll have to compete with others for puppy. Jim Lang wouldn't take time to speak to her and clerk at front desk hung up on her.
Foster went to License Branch, Tuesday, May 12 & while there questioned license branch procedure. Employee he questioned called Police, and BPD officer asked Foster to lv and not return. Foster claims he is not unreasonable and wants to know why license branch employee's word was taken over his. He is going out of town tomorrow & can't get his license plates.
