As a long-time rental tenant at 612 N. Lincoln St., I and the neighbor with whom I share this property have been cited at least twice in the past for garbage/public cleanliness violations. Having come home last night from a weekend out of town, I was shocked to see two enormous bags of trash from my neighbors at 610 N. Lincoln St. strewn across the sidewalk in front of my house and down the alley in between our houses. Upon returning home from a long day of work just a moment ago, I have to express my disgust that nothing's been done about it. For a department that is apparently very diligent, it surprises me that this would go unnoticed and uncited. Please send someone to investigate my complaint and cite them, as you have me. A woman named Susan Park called on 10/20/11 to ask how much longer the Lauren Spierer posters would be up around town. She said she is "tired of living in Spiererville" and many of her friends feel the same way. She said it has been five months since Lauren's disappearance and she doesn't "see the point" of keeping the posters up...especially since Christmas is coming.
