There is a skunk outside of the property that they would like removed. She has called Animal Control twice and was unable to reach a staff member.
Dead raccoon in the street, stinking up the neighborhood, attracting vultures and maggots. The residents want it gone as soon as possible. Reported by Charles Billings, 812.334.2900. He has called 3 times to try to get the raccoon removed.
Resident of Gentry Park strongly disagrees with the decision not to put the dog down (previous dog attack, dog is now being quarantined in the owner's home). Citizen thinks the dog should be put down.
Citizen called to let us know that there is a dead deer in the tree plot on 1700 block of Liberty Dr., across from car dealership, in front of IU Health Southern Indiana Physicians.
Peter and Lona want to report their neighbors' very loud dogs that are constantly outside. The address with the dogs is 3415 E. Olcott Blvd, house facing Dale Ct. Lona wants to be updated on any action taken, and her number is 267-626-6767. Peter's is 267-626-6726. They find the noise very disruptive when they try to work at home, and are very frustrated that no action has been taken.
Abandoned black kitten on the intersection of Wimbleton and Montclair, in Sycamore Hills neighborhood.
Called to report a rat infestation in Kensington/Hyde Park. She has 22 rat holes in her yard alone. Someone from MoCo Public Health came out recently, after Ms. Nephew called that department, and found rat holes on 8 properties across 3 streets, minimally. I suggestd that Ms. Nephew contact both Animal Control and HAND because there's an ongoing issue with her neighbor leaving out birdfeed, debris and composting materials that are likely feeding the rats. Dozens of cats running loose, creating nuisance
Larry Williams called into Elizabeth Walter at the Mayor's office to complain about the property at 612 N. Monroe being over run with cats (around 10) and trash. He owns four neighboring properties: 623, 631, 635, 639 N. Monroe. He filed a uReport about this himself over a month ago and said there hasn't been any progress on the matter. I filed this for Animal Control but HAND and Public Works may be interested as well since there is an abundance of trash as well.
