The North/South alley between 810 W. 7th and 804 W. 7th is being encroached upon by gardens, woodpiles, trees/vegetation and possibly the fence and cinder block garage owned by 810 W 7th St. As a result, the alley traffic is being diverted outside of the alley right of way and onto the private property located at 804 W. 7th. This appears to have been going on for a number of years. As the new owner of 804 W. 7th St., it is my full intention to re-claim the property/property line currently being encroached upon and proceed with renovations. I request that the Street Dept contact the owner of 810 W. 7th and order the encroachments be removed. With the assistance of a surveyor, I have located the NW and SW corner pins delineating the right of way and pounded new T posts just outside of the right of way in those spots and plan to post the entire property line once the encroachments are removed. Were I to reclaim the property line today, the alley would become impassible due to said encroachments. I request your assistance in remedying this situation in a civil and legal manner, as requests to the homeowner of 810 W.7th have fallen upon deaf ears. I request that you keep me in the loop regarding this issue. I would be happy to meet with a representative of the street dept, with survey in hand, to assist in clarifying and remedying this issue, as renovations of 804 W. 7th will begin in a few weeks. Residence has excessive trash on property. Bins are overflowing onto the sidewalk and driveway and spilling into the street. Loose trash regularly found on Allen Street.

Was there a rationale for the recent (this summer) changes to this intersection? With the closure of the 2nd lane of 3rd street it's dangerous to enter from Mitchell now. You're angled terribly to look for oncoming traffic unless you can crane your neck 120 degrees back and to the right. Also, as traffic heads east on 3rd street (from Mitchell) they block any visibility you might have. Are there plans to sort this out with a light, stop sign, or anything?

While constructing the Bike Path on the portion of E. Arden Drive to SE Park, crews did not remove the heavy mats blocking storm drains at the corners of S. Williams, Greenfield & Sycamore Courts. When heavy rains appear, water flows into E. Arden Drive, oftentimes ponding in low lying areas. People often drive too fast on that street, causing hazardous driving conditions should they loose control of their car.

Front yard of 704 W Dodds has been covered with large sheets of black plastic for 1.5 years. That is long enough to kill what was under it and come back with new landscaping or whatever he is trying to do. Please make him respect his neighbors and remove the plastic sheeting.

Full trash cans spreading loose debris around yard and street. Piles up trash bags. Small trash can on porch. Smashed recliner chair sitting in back yard(northside). Fenced in area of backyard is full of used mattresses and other trash. Who knows what is living in there.Trashcans in front and backyards.Please come look at this house.

I've seen dozens of drivers speed through this Walnut corridor, from 8th St to 12th St, in excess of 40mph. There are pedestrian crossings at 8th and 9th that are completely unusable. Motorists like to speed through the straightaway since there are three lanes. This area needs traffic calming measures to protect pedestrians.
