During heavy rains, we have been having sewage backing up into our basement. I suspect the cause may be rain water entering the sewer system through this manhole.
Last week there was a water main issue on N Kinser Pike very close to the entrance of Upper Cascades Park. There is a deep cut made in the pavement as you are driving N that will make you get new tires and an alignment. The signage is good but that doesn't go far enough. THE HOLE NEEDS ABOUT 4 INCHES OF FILLER AND SMOOTHED. THANKS. I'd say we could bury some evidence in it..but I'm not sure that's a good idea. Because I live next to Cascades Golf Course and many, many people drive that portion of Kinser Pike please HURRY UP..

Storm drain is failing and needs new housing.
Near the alley way at 401 N Dunn water does not drain properly and builds up with gravel and dirt making it difficult for handicap travel. 8th Street has been paved over so many times that drainage is impaired. There is quite a bit of debris there now and this holds a lot of water during a rain event. Finally the alley has been patched a little but it is in pretty bad shape and needs redone. Corner Patterson and Morton there is a storm drain that is 3 inches or more before the road surface. This may be enough to damage some cars. It is close to New Hope side of the street.
As commonly done when the storm drain is cleaned they dump the debris into the yard which ends up killing the grass I was told that when they clean the drains they're supposed to take the debris with them. I'd appreciate it if they would I've been fighting keeping grass growing here and when the water goes fast if there's no grass growing it takes the topsoil. Thank you
Leaves from other properties wash down the hill and covering the sewer drain at the bottom, blocking the path for runoff to enter the drain. A crew had recently come to take care of the blockage, but only removed some of the leaves and poked holes in the remaining pile covering the drain. With a big rainstorm coming soon, and this being a flood-prone area, its unlikely this doesn't result in serious flooding
There is a "CBU" orange/white-striped horse-type warning sign sitting by the street (12th Street side) that has been there awhile without any apparent reason.
Small (~7" diameter) metal access cover (valve down there?) labeled "Water" in the middle of 10th street on the east side of the intersection with Dunn is damaged, completely missing the central portion of the lid and creating a hazard if someone steps in it or a small animal falls in. There is also another one with nearly an identical problem (or completely missing) about 50 feet west at the intersection of 10th and a funny little road named "Prow".
