Dead animal smell thats been going on for several days
There's a squirrel stuck (likely deceased) on a power pole ☹ poor dude should be removed.
coyotes rage through Crestmont Park and surrounding properties nightly. Some neighbors report seeing individual coyotes in their yards. One neighbor reports seeing a coyote jump a fence on W 16th and killed a cat. Feral cats have been eaten. Last night I heard what sounded like coyote vs fox killing. One neighbor claims that the coyotes live in a hole they dug by a ditch on W. 16th west of Lindbergh. I sympathize with all the creatures who have been displaced by huge complexes in the area, But these guys have got to go. An older couple frequently brings their three dogs to Ferguson Dog Park. One of those dogs, is an 18 month old intact male Doberman Pincher. He has attempted to mount my 11 year old, spayed Aussie mix. If he is successful in putting his body on hers, she will fight back. And we know that a young intact male dog that is nearly 8 inches taller than her will indeed make a mess of my life. I have seen them there on three occasions, causing other visitors abiding by the law/rules of the park, to become agitated and thereby leaving, just as I did. The couple drives a newer model Land/Range Rover, dark grey, always in spectacular condition. They are often there midday or late afternoon. It would be very helpful if someone puts a BIG SIGN on all gates stating that only spayed and neutered dogs are allowed. Please help us keep our law abiding, special companions and masters safe. This couple has made it clear that they simply don't care.
There has been a group of (potentially homeless) people that have been staying at the corner near the building, I’ve always tried to avoid them while walking my dog but tonight their dog ran all the way across the street and attacked my dog. While security has told me not to walk my dog in the park past closing time they have driven past the group with the aggressive dog several times and not done anything. If Bloomington wants to enforce park hours then they need to do it to benefit safety as there are many people who walk their dogs near there every night, and having a 100 pound dog attack your dog is not good
Is it possible for someone to check out this property for animal abuse? I just walked by today (via the alley) and they seem to have a lot of growlings dogs in cages that were covered with blankets.
There is a skunk carcass on the sidewalk just south of 527 S. Washington St. (South of 2nd Street, on the East side of Washington St.) I walked there this morning around 10:00. The skunk had probably been killed on the street within the past 12 hours, and then something had dragged it onto the sidewalk. It would be good if someone could remove the carcass. There is a skunk odor over the neighborhood, and the carcass has been torn apart quite a bit. Thanks very much.
I have had an ongoing problem with a neighbors cat(s). I am severely allergic and have told them this repeatedly, contacted Animal Control, the officer had actually left a cage several times at my home only to catch other critters and never the cat. I have taken pictures over the couple of years documenting. He walks his cat(s) and laughs when I repeatedly ask him to keep the cat off of my property. I am not able to open my garage door because the cat tries to get in. I should not have to deal with cat hair, cat waste, on my property. Officer Eubanks is the one that has helped me for two years. I left a message for her recently asking her what my next step is. Haven't heard anything. What can you do to help me. This is a huge medical issue for me and I need to know who is going to assist.
Excessive barking by a neighbor’s dog
There is a home at 1208 S Fess Ave, where 3 dogs are kept. They bark all hours of the day and night, and frequently are heard fighting with each other. They are a general nuissance and keep all the neighbors up at night.
