Is Bloomington just going to ignore the fact that the homeless underneath grimes and Morton have set up a bicycle chop shop? Are we going to pretend the 20-30 bikes and hundred of bike parts their have not been stolen from tax paying citizens?
We are another Walnut St business that has received a broken window due to vandalism.
Walked the b-line this am and saw an illegal bicycle chop shop going on under the bridge at grimes and Morton. FYI. Couple of the people working on bikes were displaying large knifes! Not safe at all in this area!!
Area under Bridge at Grimes and Morton need dismantled and cleaned up. This has been nothing but a problem in many aspects for 6 plus months. Ps there is a large pile of bicycles at that location. Way more there than the number of people there, I wonder were they got them all?
Ban fireworks. Harms vets, pets, causes fire, and more. A city celebration is plenty. Can shoot in the country if desired.

City government should set an example and require covid vaccines like any responsible employer. As the mayor gives his conferences his employees get and spread illness?
Quite a few people seem to be living under the bridge in tents, spilling out onto the adjacent sidewalk and blocking it. There are also tents behind the closed car wash near the downtown post office. I hope we find better homes for these individuals.
Has the mayor issued a Pride/LGBT proclamation for the month? I would assume so. Can you post the link where that can be found? For a town that touts diversity every chance it gets year after year I'm sad how little celebration I see of our queer demographic and the diversity within. Thank you for your support.
Homeless camp under bridge of grimes and Morton has stolen a shopping cart from kohl’s. Camp needs dismantled and cleaned up. Camp is illegal! Lots of trash in area!
