Citation #25204400447 issued 2/7/2025 to my vehicle a silver Subaru Forrester for $30.00 indicates that I did not pay to park. I have enclosed my receipt that I, in fact, DID pay $3.50 for up to 9:14 pm and I also have my receipt from Discover card showing payment to Park Mobile starting at 6:14pm for $3.50 but wasn't able to include more than 1 photo. I have other photos of proof, 1 with details that I had paid from 6:14-9:14 but we left around 7:30. Another one sent at 8:59 pm from Park Mobile that my session was about to expire. At that time we were already home. We are elderly and obviously handicapped, please take care of this issue. Contact me at 812-345-5677 if you need further proof that I paid to park. Thank you, Susan Cassell
Parking spots needs to be re-striped on this block. It's not very clear how or where to park, as evidenced by the numerous people we see parking incorrectly from our business. I'm attaching my request for this from 2018. Thanks.
The kiosk in the lot behind jimmy johns has been out of order for past few months. Went to pay at the other kiosk this morning and wouldn’t take any coins.
Meter broken. Gave 10 min for $1, card slot blocked/vandalized.
This car parked here and the lady parked next to her was in a wheelchair and couldn’t get to her car because of this car.
Meter missing at handicap space.
I parked at this meter today (4/12) just before noon. 3 quarters in and I only had been credited for 15 minutes. I had just enough change to pay for the hour and 10 minutes I needed for my appointment at Fountain Square, so I had to use a card to ensure I had adequate time and didn't get a ticket. Please check this meter for issues.
I had my car predatorily towed by Tow Time Towing and Recovery on 22 May, I believe in the afternoon. I woke up this morning needing to get to work, and my vehicle was gone. I panicked and assumed it had been stolen only to find it had been towed due to failure to display a parking permit – despite the fact that the parking lot was nearly completely empty, and I was not obstructing any parking. Additionally, I was parked in my parking place, but after driving, I forgot to return my parking pass to the mirror. The pass was removed because it obstructs my view while driving. I have seen that the cap cost in Bloomington for towing is $135 and yet Tow Time has insisted I owe them $170 for the tow. After explaining the situation they said there was nothing to be done. I have since not been able to get to work due to my vehicle being gone so unexpectedly and will have to walk over two miles to the impound lot to pay to retrieve my predatorily impounded vehicle. There were no warnings I was in violation, and this has caused a considerable disruption to my work schedule and put a very significant financial strain on me given the unexpected and, in my opinion, excessive nature of the fine for what was not an illegal action and was little more than a small error in forgetting to re-display my parking pass. I would appreciate any assistance in this moving forward, and I hope by filing this, I can assist in the prevention of predatory impounding like this moving forward.
Two cars are parked in front of 1935 E 2nd Street, completely t blocking the sidewalk on a busy street. (They even have a driveway on Anita that is empty.)
