Good evening. There has been a notable increase in the use of electric bikes at Olcott Park since this summer. Young people (including some children) are riding their electric bikes on the park pathways, grass, and streets. They are scaring pedestrians and their pets. They are going at high speeds (20 mph plus), doing wheelies, and driving while looking at their cell phones. It would be helpful to increase patrols and/or provide guidance to residents explaining how and where these bikes can be used. Given children are involved, safety is a primary concern. My family and I were at Olcott Park at 11 am today (9/6/26). While there, 3 young boys on electric bikes rode down the trails quickly, "gunning" their motors loudly (too fast for such a public place). I was concerned about the children playing in the playground and walking through the park. Also, these individuals rode their electric bikes on the soccer fields. Due to the amount of dirt that was disturbed and blowing into the environment, I believe they might have damaged the field with their electric bikes. There was no parental supervision as far as I could tell. I'm wondering if there is a contact number one could call while things like this are happening? Submitting this report seems to be too late as I don't know their identities for follow-up. Thank you.

Sidewalk and stairs coming up the hill from the goat farm on the South side of Winslow road is frequently overgrown and hard to walk on. The brush between the street and sidewalk needs to be extensively cleaned out and frequently gets like this. Could you please clean it up and figure out a long term fix going forward? This is a critical walkway to the park and school for multiple neighborhoods. Thanks!

The tennis court lights are not working when the button is pressed. Hasn’t been working for about a month now, and with sunsets getting earlier it is a little difficult.

Very large oak tree showing disease. We are concerned it may fall on our house across the street if a storm comes. It may only need pruning but it is becoming a concern for our safety. We are not sure who owns the house it has been empty for the last 2 months, it was a rental property.

The large black hanging swings at the south end of the children's playground, along with the same swings on the north side of the splash pad pavilion, are in need of lubrication. They emit a terrible squeal when you try to swing on them, and if all three are in motion at the same time, it's enough to drive you mad. Having someone climb up there once a quarter and spray a little lubrication on the pivot points would presumably work wonders. Thanks for your time and attention!

There is a very dangerous limb (a widowmaker) hanging from the tree over Dodds. This is not the snag in front of the blue house. It is the gray house which has a big tree in front. The limb is facing down toward the road, and would no doubt kill someone if it hit them or their car.
