Hole opened up very recently. Bryan Park, near where the feeder enters Sheridan Creek. Wasn't there a few days ago. It's quite visible so not as dangerous, but still it might be wise to fill it in.
This hole at Bryan Park is not so obvious and ir's therefore more likely someone might step in it and fall, twist an ankle, etc. So it would be good to fill it in. Gravel first, then dirt?
Hi, First, thank you for removing the leaves from Park Ridge Park, the excellent park in the Park Ridge neighborhood, in April. Now, it seems like it is in need of a little bit of post-winter care. The areas where the leaves laid overwinter have become bare (see the picture). This is a spot that the Parks Department has worked hard trying to recover before and I suppose it is time work on it again. There are also other bare spots in the park where leaves had laid over winter (by the shelter - to the east) and for some unknown reason to the south of the swings. Could these areas please be addressed with grass seed and straw to make sure that park stays maintainable, that the structures don't end being compromised by erosion, and to make the park less of a mess after a rain? Also, the mulch covering the area underneath the playground structure may need refilled, in particular underneath the swings. Finally, is there a regular schedule under which these aspects of the park(s) get addressed? I am sure there are priorities and limited resources. We do not want to bother the department - if we knew that this maintenance would be done (based on a known schedule), then we would only have the thank yous to include instead of a thank you and a request. Someone has set up what looks like a junk store on the east side of People's Park up against the bike shop wall.
Today, May 18th, 2024, my daughter was driving to BHSN around 9 AM, and a golf ball hit the windshield. The windshield had a little scratch, and my daughter was really frightened. This situation could be really dangerous: my daughter was inside a car, but what about a person on a motorcycle? This is really dangerous!
Bryan Park women's restroom was locked this morning at around 8 am. When does it open? Park hours are 5 am to 11 pm.
Pls charge food vendors the same as produce booths. I want to see them back to what once was our thriving Saturday market. Thanks!
The fees for food vendors are too high and are driving vendors away from the market. That also means that the market is less interesting to patrons. The local food vendors are important to those who come. Please lower these fees.
Please do away with the percent fee system for food and beverage vendors at the farmers market. It's not fair for them to have a different rate than the farmers and they bring lots of customers to the market, in addition to adding a large variety of food choices.
