Switchyard Brewing reports several attempts to reach city landscaping department requesting this area have sod laid. Business owner has attempted to repair himself with no luck. Stated it has been dirt since they opened, and requests city assistance.
This is in refercence to case number 169692. I failed to mention the blocked bike path was at Bryan Park, adjacent to the woodlawn shelter.

Hi - there is a mosquito infestation in the woods between Oaklawn park & meadowcreek. I can see the trail from backyard. There was a cloud of mosquitos. It is a wildlife sanctuary there are what I believe rare birds I do not want it cut down but I want an arborist/ ecologist to assess if pine forests naturally have 2 feet of weeds, vines, underbrush. I googled misquote habitat & it says this exactly. Does the city own this easement ( trail)? If not - is it in city limits & issue a citation? I looked on city website there is a line here so I don’t know if the woods is on city or county side. There is a new disease in America , EEE, that mosquitos carry and it can be fatal or cause seizures. I know Mother Nature does their landscaping. Last year I was in contact with Lee Huss via uReport about a tree that needed to be planted (to replace one that died and was removed) in the tree plot by the sidewalk outside 715 West 13th Street. He said he would take care of it this spring. I want to make sure I am still on his radar. Thanks.
Hi there, I sent a request for info last year regarding the parking/tree-plots on 13th St. between Maple and Jackson (uReport case number #163321). Just wanted to let you know that a truck and crew just came by, and poured and smoothed out a small amount of asphalt, in what I was told was an original tree plot, across the street from my house... Again, as stated in my earlier request, I would love to have the tree-plots back, which would actually help slow the traffic down on 13th Street between Maple and Rogers.... or if not, then maintained shoulders for parking, but the response was that they were just tree plots, and that we could get ticketed if we parked on them. The problem is, they are currently all gravel/mud pits and everyone parks on them... except now we have a 9' stretch of asphalt on this one area only? Not sure what's going on here. Are they tree plots? Are they parking? Are they all going to get paved? Are we going to be ticketed if we park on them, even if we park on the parts that are freshly paved? Can they instead be turned back into tree plots like they have on 12th Street? Thanks for any information you might have!

The trees at Park Ridge Park have many dead branches. Dead branches are a serious hazard since they can fall off. They are right above the area where children play. This must be fixed immediately.
