I am very concerned about the speed of traffic on Vermilya avenue. The apartment complex down the street has several speed bumps which ensures traffic remains at a safe speed. I want to request a couple speed bumps to be installed on Vermilya Ave. Several drivers fly down this road at a very unsafe rate of speed. This is a quiet neighborhood with several pedestrians (including children and pets) walking the street/sidewalks at all hours of the day. Please help me make this happen. All lighting fixtures shall be installed so that light trespass from any property line, except a property line abutting a public street, shall not exceed two footcandles at a point one meter beyond the property line.

On Smith Rd. between Morningside Drive and the railroad overpass, there is lots of debris along the road, there were sandbags that were put out around the drains which have since then broken up and laying there probably preventing water from going down the drain. The weeds along the sidewalks on both sides need weedwhipped. It's very unsightly. Thanks.

Light Trespass. Ongoing problem. The city has investigated before and confirmed light trespass. The large carriage lights on the east of the house porch are nonconforming with city code, they are unshielded, and are left on all night, as well, and there is light trespass on the neighboring property.This has been verified by a site visit by the city, measured on the neighboring property. Please enforce this. The light trespass is a continuing problem and it is disruptive to neighbors, as well as being a circadian rhythm disruptor. Apparently the house is unoccupied currently, and in a misguided effort to make the house look occupied, the exterior lights are left on all night. Thank you for enforcing the city code, and stopping this violation and nuisance immediately.
