On Winslow Road, in the West bound lane, near Winslow Court, there is a distinct hollow echo when vehicles drive over a specific spot. I'm concerned that a void may have appeared over the years.
There are a few areas on E Ridgeview Dr. and E Sunny Slopes Dr. that the roads are partially blocked by low hanging trees. Specifically across from 214 E Ridgeview Dr. This is any already blind curve, but the tree is hanging too far into the street making it unsafe because drivers are swerving to miss it and not seeing oncoming traffic, also making it unsafe work those walking. Last year it was partially trimmed back by the city. We would like it trimmed back to the edge of the road. Thank you!
228 North Sheffield. A huge trash container has been in the driveway for literally a year now at least I imagine. Surely there is some limit on PERMANENT placement of a personal mini-dump, aka giant trash container, in a public visible area? Both for health and aesthetic. I understand even a couple months if something big is happening, but not permanent placement of trash. Can someone please request the homeowner if nothing else can be done to please move it? And route this concern to City officials if not against some city ordinance? I think we have a neighborhood officer Norm if he can knock and see what their plan for it is. yard overgrown, difficulty accessing alley
A gentleman stopped by our office this morning to alert us to an unsafe swing set that was installed in the yard of 825 S. Eastside Dr. He said that the swing is installed in a way that it would go into the road if someone was on it. He is nervous that a kid is going to swing on it unsupervised and go into the road. He would like to remain anonymous.
There is a dumpster in the alley behind Indiana Auto Sales (not sure if it is residential or commerical) that is not up to code for a business in Bloomington (no concrete slap, and no surrounding fence / wall).
Weeds and piles of pine needles on sidewalk, vines on wall encroaching.
Property is overgrown and pulling off of Ford Ave to Ralston is dangerous. Caller stated they complain about this every year.
House at the corner of W 6th and Fairview has allowed decorative grasses to grow into sidewalk and into Fairview Street. Cars cannot see pedestrians as they pull through Fairview and peds have to walk into street to avoid getting hit in face by plants.
Bryan Park neighborhood: excessive growth throughout the neighborhood, especially at the following locations: SW part of the intersection of Dixie and S Palmer Ave (bush growing into the road); S Palmer Ave between Dixie and E. Allen St.; north side of E. Allen St, just east of intersection with S. Lincoln; north side of Dixie St. between S. Grant St. and S. Lincoln; north side of E. Allen between S. Dunn and S. Palmer Ave.
