I am a student at Indiana University. The electronic scooters have been insanely helpful to navigating the campus when busses are full or running late. I appreciate the no-parking zones, as they help keep the sidewalks freer of the scooters and allow for accessibile use. My issue currently is that there are official IU Campus buildings registered as no-parking zones. In particular, the Arts Annex building on 12th and Woodlawn. I am asking for the city of Bloomington to work with IU officials on clearly labeling campus buildings where scooter parking zones should be present. Then, the city of Bloomington takes that info to the electronic scooter companies to update their apps and services.

On Winslow Road, in the West bound lane, near Winslow Court, there is a distinct hollow echo when vehicles drive over a specific spot. I'm concerned that a void may have appeared over the years.

This is a general observation. Over the last few years I have been seeing metal sheets screwed to Bloomington roads, presumably to cover work in progress. I have observed a problem with many of these sheets. They are screwed down with small gauge screws. They are not sufficient to keep the sheets secure. They work their way out and stick up an inch in some places. Their heads are small. They look sharp enough to damage a tire, and a damaged tire is a safety issue.

Bushes and trees are overgrown, unable to see around corner- I drive this route 2 times a day, repeatedly I nearly have an accident because you cannot see around the corner. Also, road sign is blocked by bushes and trees.

There are multiple potholes on Amp Way, near Target and Current at Latimer Square. The largest is past the entrance that Target shares with Chik-fil-a. Further down the road there are two, one pretty deep, right at the corner crosswalk. This concerns me due to the blind corner and crosswalk. Some drivers come around that corner in the middle of the road, and it makes it difficult to avoid hitting the pothole. This road is, at times very busy and congested, with bus, car, scooter, bicycle, and foot traffic. The curbside parking for the apartments has cars facing two different directions, which gets chaotic. The turn lane in front of Target is very tight if you're turning right, with poor visibility due to the hedges, and oncoming traffic often speeding. it wouldn't be a bad place for a few speed bumps, especially with the IU Students returning soon.

What is the TIMELINE for paving Lindbergh St between W17th and W 11th? I would like to share your short answer tonight as I preside over the Crescent Bend Neighborhood Association meeting. Bicyclists in parks and on trails do not notify walkers that they are coming up behind them. Other countries have bells on the bikes which the bikers use to alert someone that they are coming up behind. It is startling to have someone fly by, esp when walking a dog. Dogs could dart out in the path of the bike if the walker is not aware the biker is behind them. The City needs signage in every park and on every trail to remind bikers that they need to signal their approach when coming up behind a walker, esp one with a dog/dogs.
