Sidewalk work is currently happening on Laura Way and I'm wondering if the city can install a sidewalk connecting Jennifer 1063 and 1059? We have a lot of young kids on our street right now and the bus stop is right past that section. It would be nice if the kids didn't have to walk on the street during htat busy time. I think 1063 is a double lot and so the developer never finished the sidewalk. There are some trees that I don't think anyone would want to cut down, but perhaps the sidewalk can be installed a bit closer to the curb through that section? Also, I live at 1044 and we have one section of the sidewalk that is raised due to tree roots. It's unclear if they are roots from a tree on our property or roots from a tree on city property. Could the city fix that as part of this project? There is also a water hookup very close to this spot so I'm not sure how complicated this would be. It's not a terrible issue, but bumpy enough to make pushing a stroller or using a scooter a bit precarious.

Like no water no school school zone signs or school crossing right there for the kids coming from the school there is no school zone sign anywhere on 17th Street or the one coming down the hill

The renter has had eight tires sitting in front of his garage since August of 2023. He has been asked to remove them but he only parked his huge white SUV in front of them. 1. they are unsightly 2. during the warm months the mosquitos will breed in the trapped water.

'Work Now' sign in the grass, most likely in the ROW in the 1700 block of S Henderson in front of the City of Bloomington water (?) station.

Animals (horse and sheep) being kept in front yard of unoccupied home without shelter from weather, sun and extreme temperatures. Does not appear to be water available. Small roaming area with electric fence. The horse today, is standing under the overhang against the house for shade.

I am writing you with concerns about work being done around the city by AT&T subcontractors to lay fiber optics cable around the city. Should you talk to individuals in several neighborhoods where they have worked there is dissatisfaction. The subcontractors have at times leaving large scars across the properties of homeowners for which they then failed to make adequate repairs. Part of our sprinkling system no longer works. One of our neighbors has a 30 to 40 foot long scar across the side of his yard and the subcontractors buried both the meter for his water as well as one drain pipe from his gutters (I am including photographs). In talking to the Hallmark Management Corporation, we are not the only homeowners association that has had these kinds of experiences. I have tried to reach out to AT&T and was given assurances that I would hear back from them in an effort to resolve the situation. I have never heard back. I know the representatives from Hallmark have also been trying to reach out to AT&T without success, Can the City help to reach out to AT&T and raise these issues. It has come to our attention, as mentioned by the owner, that there is an underground propane tank still present on this property. We are concerned about potential toxic effects if left in the ground. Please investigate and remove. We hope this will be removed to prevent contamination of underground water.

Anthony’s Pets has open cages for rabbits, allowing diseases to be spread from rabbits to humans, or vice versa. Animals are left sitting in their feces with little water.
