The street light at the intersection of Woodburn Ave and 15th street is out. This was observed on the evening of Sept 25th, 2017. This is a dark neighborhood and cannot have its intersection lights inoperative. Few residents keep their porch lights on as I do front and back.
There is a foul odor in the neighborhood on some evenings after dark. It smells like chemicals to me. Other neighbors describe it as "burning trash". I'm concerned that it may be meth.

I have reported this outage several weeks ago since I live at 1020 N Woodburn which is 1/2 block from this light. My house is part of the Maple Heights Neighborhood Association. This area of Woodburn is quite dark. Is there any way that Duke can prioritze the repair of this light? I thought I would ask before I discuss the problem with the HT Hotline, the Mayor's office and Duke. I understand if larger outages would take a larger project, but this is a single light that has up till night be very reliable. Thank you for your efforts to help.
Hello, I am the facilities manager of Trinity Episcopal Church (111 s Grant Street). I reported a gas meter that I believe is unsafe. My case was closed with no further discussion about the concerns of the Church or the well-being and safety of us or our neighbors. The pipe on the meter is NOT well protected and it juts out beyond the profile of the building. Large trucks traverse that alley, not to mention cars. Our building has been struck on occasion by vehicles driving through or backing up while delivering food/supplies etc. The small pipe protecting the meter is only 4 feet tall and has been struck one time already by the wheel of a vehicle. We strongly believe that this will not be the last time and that our building and the well-being of its occupants are being placed in an unsafe situation. While I did not ask that the meter be moved - I would ask that it be better protected at the very least. The pipe protecting it is NOT adequate and it does not address the remainder of the gas pipe that is in danger of being struck by the mirrors or other parts of the very large trucks that regularly enter and exit that alleyway. These are the two issues we want addressed. I will be saving copies of this report and the last one - along with the city's response in our files here at Trinity. When that pipe is struck by a passing vehicle, we will be holding all of the parties we've reported this issue to, responsible. I strongly urge the City and the Gas Company Centerpoint to reconsider leaving that meter in its unsafe and inadequately protected condition. Hello, Yesterday (Tuesday, June 28, 2016) a new sidewalk was built next door at 1119 N. Lincoln Street. The left over concrete was dumped in the tree plot at the southeast corner of my lot at 1125 N. Electric bicycle lying in the grass on Dunn Street just north of the bagel shop. Has been there quite awhile.
