They left these logs perched precariously on a bank, where it looks as if they are in danger of tumbling into the street, in the path of some unsuspecting motorist. I assumed they'd be safely cleared away quickly, but a couple of weeks have gone by and they're still there.

Hello: I was in communication with Christina Smith last fall regarding a street light that needs to be installed on S. Fess Ave. Preferably 821 S. Fess Ave., as that is the middle of the block. The 800 block of S. Fess is totally pitch black, unless there is a full moon. I'm not sure why this completely dark street, with two homebound senior citizens living on it (my neighbors), hasn't become a priority for a street light. Please consider taking care of this soon. Fess Avenue. Each year, we install street lights within the public right of way on a petition base and available funding. I have placed your request area on are list for future consideration. I am the homeowner at 3817 S Woods Edge Bend. Can the city repair my sidewalk? My insurance company is saying this is necessary, and I don't know how to get this done.
How would I go about getting someone to come out to potentially issue a citation to a property owner about a dangerous tree? We just purchased our house and there is a very large and what seems to be dead tree on our neighbors property with branches that hang over our home. It seems like it is above power lines as well. I'm just not sure how to go about everything. The occupants are renters and I'm not sure who the landlord is, but it is a hazard that needs to be taken care of ASAP. My address is 1529 W 8th St
Thank you for the quick response and repair of the crumbling pavement and holes in the street in front of our house on Tapps Turn. This is an unacceptable reply and will be discussed at the next City Council open meeting. East Matlock Road is in need of street lights beginning from the corner of the 45/46 bypass continuing to the Headley School building. There are many residents, bicyclists, and students who use the street as a means of pedestrian passage to the stadium and IU campus at all hours of the night. There are only two lights - one on each end of the street - leaving the stretch in between to be dangerously dark and a hazard to walkers, bicyclists, drivers, and residents alike. Furthermore, with nearby cases of vandalism, theft, as well as the recent disappearance and death of an IU Student in the area, many residents have become concerned over the lack of lighting on the street. There are several utility poles lining the street where street lamps could be placed. The installation of street lamps would benefit not only pedestrian safety and visibility to drivers, but would also allow residents peace-of-mind with the added safety measures that lights would provide.
